“Just tried La Hacienda- great music, and we were seated right away and given a high chair. Service was friendly and efficient. Love that they had special touches like two salsas for their great chips, pickled onions and really good pico de gallo. We had burrito à la pina, chile poblanos, mini chicken Chimis, and kids quesadilla, and queso dip. Every meal came out hot, and was excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere, it is clean and gets an A rating from the health department. Easy parking, very convenient to Cane Bay, Target, and the movies. I would come here with a date, family, a celebration like a birthday, or with friends for lunch or after work. Outstanding service.“

“I’ve been following you a few months and today was the day. I got the fried salmon with Mac cheese and broccoli. Omg!! The fried salmon with garlic honey sauce was amazing!!! Mac cheese was absolutely delicious as well as the broccoli. Very well seasoned, to perfection! I see the hype. I had a nice fella in front of me and it was only his second time, he told me I would be back again, and I will. Very nice lady with a beautiful smile working the register. “Had a great experience at Avages Catina in Summerville! We had the option to sit inside or outside but opted for inside. Our server came over to our table shortly after we were seated. There was no wait for chips and salsa and water. The service was prompt and attentive from the moment we arrived, and the staff made sure everything came out quickly and exactly as ordered. The food and drinks were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish was well-prepared and full of flavor. This was actually my 5th time at this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service!“

“Absolutely terrible food and service. I had a chicken taco salad and the chicken was cold and you could taste that it had been left over from at least the day before. I let the server know this and never got a single apology. I was just asked if I wanted to exchange it for something else. After their first attempt I decided I was better off not eating anything else. The manager never came out. I had to ask for him. This guy came out that was dressed in street clothes. If I was a betting man I would assume he is the owners son because he was incompetent and didn't seem to care in the least. He takes no pride in his work. He would talk over me and insisted the chicken was cooked today. I found it funny that at 12:30 the chicken they cooked for the day was already refrigerator cold. Ask anyone that has spent time on a line before how silly that sounds for a restaurant that only opens for lunch and dinner. Don't go to this place. I used to say that even bad Mexican food is still pretty good. I no longer think this.“

Update: I took off a star because their guac is made with sour cream or there's something added to make it extra creamy, and it upsets my stomach every time I get it. They deny it, but I literally order everytime we go (forgetting this) and the guac had white stuff of some sort that was visible (sour cream, heavy whipping cream, or something) the last time I got it.“
