Bok Choy Boy Reviews
Located within the Charles Towne Fermatory, Bok Choy Boy is SO good! Truly a hidden gem. We got the dumplings, hot buns, and croffles (strawberry, s’mores and Oreo) and everything was phenomenal. We ordered more to go because it was so good. Will definitely be returning!
Friendly owner & associate.
Got the pancit and Although it was tasty, the noodles all stuck together as if they had prepared it earlier and then heated it up later. Noodles were also dry---had to put a piece of meat and cabbage in my mouth and then take a bite out of the clump of noodles. The taste I would give 7/10--the presentation (for me) is a 3.

Bok Choy Boy, tucked away in the Charleston Fermentary, serves fresh and delicious food that packs a punch. The menu features dishes like the addictive crab fat fried rice and spicy chicken sandwich, offering a perfect balance of heat and flavor. The restaurant also offers tocino, which is highly praised, especially when paired with garlic rice. The owner is friendly, and the bar staff at the Charleston Fermentory are welcoming. The small place has cool decor, and orders are placed directly at the counter, with quick and friendly service. Vegetarian options are available, and the portions are well-sized and very tasty. Guests recommend trying the dessert, which is simply delicious, and the prices are very fair. Overall, this spot is a must-visit, great for bringing friends and out-of-town guests.
