“While visiting Charleston for a guy's trip, we stopped by Charles Towne Fermetory for a little day drinking. The bartenders are very friendly and gave good suggestions on what beers to try. Definitely suggest Tuesday or Thursday night to stop by. The potato rounds are great with the Thai sweet chili sauce .

Holy City Brewing Brewery • $$
1021 Aragon Ave, Charleston

“We visited Holy City Brewing today for lunch. We each had a couple of beers, most noted the Cotton Candy Cream Ale and the Hazy Dive. The tomato bacon jam burger was so good, but the Garlic Patty Melt was top notch. Even though they were extremely busy with large parties due to graduation, our waitress was wonderful! We'll be back!!“

Fam's Brewing Co. featuring Famulari's Pizzeria Brewery • $$
1291 Folly Rd, Charleston

“Walking into Fam’s Brewing Company feels less like stepping into a restaurant and more like stumbling into an alternate universe where pizza is a divine art form, wings are sculpted by angels, and fries are seasoned with pure joy. Let’s start with the wings: crispy, saucy perfection that made me briefly question whether I’ve ever actually eaten wings before. Then came the fries, golden little wands of happiness—somehow crunchy, salty, and addictively snackable all at once. But the pizza? Oh, the pizza. Calling it pizza almost feels insulting; this was a culinary delicacy that should be displayed in a museum, yet eaten with reckless abandon. Now, about the beer. We tried seven different brews—seven!—and each sip felt like floating on a cloud while an ’80s rock god softly played a ballad in the background, reminding you that life is good and beer can, in fact, be transcendent. Every pint had its own personality, but together they formed a tasting journey that made us forget about time, space, and calorie counts. And the atmosphere? Imagine your living room—but cozier, friendlier, and filled with people you didn’t know five minutes ago but somehow feel like you’ve known forever. It’s the kind of place where you can laugh too loud, eat too much, and still feel like you belong. Fam’s Brewing Company isn’t just a pizza and brewery joint—it’s an experience, a glorious collision of comfort food, craft beer, and pure Charleston hospitality. Would I go back? Let’s put it this way: if they’d let me move in, I’d already be unpacking my bags.“

“Frankie (and to your entire team),I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to your entire team. I recently held a political campaign event at your location and every single detail was attended to and your entire staff delivered a 5-Star Exceptional level of customer service. I was respectfully greeted and followed up with on all of the planning and contract negotiations by Hannah Cannon and when I arrived on site for my event, Frankie Polanco, greeted me and introduced me to the entire team that would be assisting me and my guests throughout the evening. Everyone of your team members made you and your company very proud that night and was noticed and commented on by a significant number of local business owners, leaders and state-wide political leaders as well. It is a true honor to have a professionally run business like yours in my SC House of Representatives District 99! Keep up the great work and know that I will be referring your company to all of my family, friends as well as business and political contacts. I wish all of you much continued success on Daniel Island. State Representative Mark Smith“
