The review in the travel magazine did not lie. The food and staff are outstanding. Definitely on the top of my GET List (Gotta Eat There)!
The pastries were the start of the show! We got them warmed up and they were SO good! The drip coffee was just ok. If I were to go again, I would opt for an espresso drink. The blueberry danish was super flaky. The muffin was soft and nicely flavored with cinnamon and apple. Great start to the day. At times it gets busy, but there are plenty of seats if you spill out into the hotel lobby.
Enjoyed this coffee shop every morning on my vacation, Great drip coffee, great lattes and great quick breakfast options!

The coffee is good, and the potlicker stew and soft boiled egg with tomato relish are must-tries. The frittata is also excellent and worth a visit. Don’t miss the hot honey chicken sandwich or the okra and grits. A perfect spot to drop in for a quick bite, located conveniently in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel. The staff make the experience special, ensuring a warm and sunny greeting each morning.
