“The only issue I have is that new guy on the grill making the hot subs—he messes up my sub EVERY SINGLE TIME! How hard is it to follow a ticket? The young ladies who take the order write down exactly what I ask for, but as soon as it gets to him, it’s like he decides, “Screw it, I’ll do what I want!” Who does that? I’m beyond frustrated! I’ll probably go back because the place is decent otherwise, but I am DONE ordering hot subs unless I can stand there and personally supervise this guy messing with my food!!!“
“TL;DR- top notch, best eatery, amazing experience
I am not one to write a review very often because honestly ain’t nobody got time for that. So it’s gotta be real good or real bad to use my precious time. This one is real good. This jersey Mike’s location is hands-down slap, dab the best little eatery around. Now we’re talking apples to apples not apples to oranges so for the literal Lucy‘s out there of course Halls chop house is far superior however for what it is in the niche market Jersey Mike’s, THIS location of Jersey Mike’s, shall I say is by far the best.
It’s always glistening clean. I don’t gotta turn a blind eye in fear of regurgitation when I see a corner of the room or something like that you know. It’s clean and everyone is a real treasure. These days you’re about to get attitude wherever you go, especially with the younger folks like those that tend to work in an establishment such. These folks are sweet as can be. Gives you hope that may be the future is not all doom and gloom. We all know there’s the difficult folks like them Karen’s, but I have stood back waiting in my turn and I have seen the manager here handle things with such grace and charm. Now I used to be a young man myself so I know grace and charm don’t always come first to mind in the moment. But this fella, he’s the real deal.
Then the young folks working the lines getting all the foods ready- I’d never known they was as young either they’re so sweet and just respectful. It was a breeze and I have serious dietary needs and gluten intolerance, etc. so sometimes I start to dread ordering food cause everyone’s not on the same page but these folks got it. I even had a few of my pleasures and I know this ain’t a Chick-fil-A. They’re not paid to say that. They meant it.
Now about the food- cause we all know that’s why we ultimately go. The other stuff is a bonus like a bonus mom or dad or whatever it is but the food is top notch and is consistent. I don’t have to wonder if today’s Italian hoagie gonna be like parting the Red Sea Splish Splash taking a bath, or are we gonna walk into the desert under the Tuscan sun, thing so crispy you need to put on eye protection when you crunch on through.
No, not this place it’s always perfect. It’s always the same and it’s always the way I like it. Now if you order pick up or Delivery dashing and whatever and your hoagie gets to be a little bit on the soggy side then ask yourself did you follow directions or I should say use common sense when you placed the order? Did you ask for your oil and vinegar on the side? Cause you know they’ll do that. They put it in a little container so it don’t touch the bread and it’s fresh as can be. I’ve heard some folks complaining about that with different food places and what not. Stupid is as stupid does and you can’t fix stupid, that has nothing to do with the establishment and the employees they did their job technically.
But I digress, they’re real sweet with requests for accommodations or whatever such as I ask, but now the quality of the food is real good. Bring in some Kale for wraps and I’d even give that a try- gotta be good for the belly.
Keep it up kids!“
“I appreciated being greeted so well with a smile when I went to stand in line to order my sub. The workers seemed happy to be there! They were very attentive concerning what items I wanted on my order! The customer service was A1 at this location! I asked for the manager, who was working just as hard as the other employees, and informed him of the amazing customer service. All workers were extremely pleasant and welcoming! Before I walked out of the door, they asked me what my name was again. What a great visit!“
“Jersey Mike's is making a BIG difference in our community here on the island. Jersey Mike's management team have donated certificates to our Teens Department at Baxter-Patrick James Island Library (Charleston County Public Library). This donation came at the right to boost our pre-teens and teens to read during the summer. Our branch and community salute you all at Jersey Mike's!! Thank you, thank you! Summer Reading is here!!!“
“Although every Jersey Mike's that I have been to has been great, this one stands above the rest. The staff are always so kind and helpful even when they are slammed with customers and online orders. Kiki and Michael especially, thank you guys!“

“New favorite acai bowl cafe. The bowl, first of all, was amazing. Reasonably priced with a ton of toppings. They don’t have GF granola which is a bummer but literally don’t care. Second of all, they have combos where you can do a bowl and a latte or coffee. So awesome.“
