“If y’all need a good southern home cooked meal this is the place to go! We got a meat, veg, and rice plate this perfectly hit the spot! The green beans were delicious and the pot roast I had was so flavorful! I also decided to get a strawberry shortcake cup which was so good I didn’t even get to take a photo!“

“Small African American restaurant. We white folks just off the plane from NYC were greeted like old friends by the ladies behind the counter. And the food was great. Was going to get just a vegetable plate — the lima beans were fantastic (never thought I’d say those words). The fried pork chop out of this world. The cashier made sure I got the free cornbread. Oh yeah, the bread pudding was out of this world.“

“The seafood egg roll and crab cakes stuffed with shrimp was really good. Also had Mac n cheese and Lima beans. Huge portions so could not eat it all but I really wanted to. Their sweet tea was perfect for this GA girl. Definitely on my list for revisits.“
