“It has been a couple years since we visited VVV. We had a nice lunch. Food was good, as was the service. They mentioned they were short staffed, but they managed the crowd well. Wines were good, especially given they are all grown on property (except for the Sauvignon Blanc). Prices are reasonable.”

“One of the very best coffee shops in the Greenville area! Travelers Rest is a gem, and the Bridge City location here is special. It’s cozy, warm, the perfect level of background noise, and a cheery environment. Grateful for this place! It really fills up my cup!!
Dietary restrictions: They are helpful in helping me navigate drinks that are both gluten free and dairy free!”

“This was the first time trying this pizza! Told Brett that I was hoping it was good because so tired of going to TR or Greenville for pizza! It did not disappoint? Got the supreme pizza and it was great! Only problem was we ordered black olives to go on the pizza and when we opened the pizza. No black olives! Hopefully we will get those next time! Will definitely go back! So thrilled to have this place in Marietta! Great service too!! Can’t wait to try some of the other thing!!! Wish they were open a few more days!!!!”

“Everything was Perfect! Looking forward to eating here again!”
“The atmosphere was great. Friendly staff. Options to be indoors and outdoors. Parking is a bit tricky. Limited but good selection of German - Belgian inspired beer. Appreciated many of them and not caring for 2. Nice swag to buy. Did have some light appetizers. There are a few selections for the non beer drinkers of seltzers and wines. Dog-friendly -- extra bonus points!”

“They have the best hamburger steak (The Rev) that I have ever eaten. Top that with some gravy, mushrooms and grilled onions and it's out of this world! We had been camping at Jones Gap and had our dog with us so they let us sit at the table outside. Everyone was so sweet. One of the ladies brought our dog a water bowl and the cook brought our food out to us. I had collards and mac & cheese for sides and they were wonderful as well. We always visit Northwest Grill when we go camping. I wish we were closer just so we could eat here more often. You locals sure are lucky. Great food, excellent service and nice people!”

“Food is good, band was awesome (Israel Bailey and the Delinquents) but as a former waitress I would love to see the rooftop have a dumb waiter so the waiters do not have to run up and down the stairs in the heat! It must be brutal!!!!”

“This was truly an incredible experience. Very much an actual chef's table, with Chef Gene giving us so much information, so much of his time, and so much food! We took home multiple to go boxes. Every course was inventive and fun, and I strongly recommend going there open to whatever Chef Gene has in mind, because it is a crazy fun and innovative culinary adventure tour. Our meal ended with a steak (any cut of our choosing?!?) that he deep fried in Wagyu tallow (?!?!) - our minds were blown. Everything was great, but I think my favorite was this amazing mahi mahi on a bed of salsa verde, pureed corn, with a Peruvian tomato-based sauce. All of those flavors came together beautifully, and the fish was perfectly pan-fried. Just as importantly, everybody there seemed to be having fun and actually enjoying their job, which feels way too rare these days. For Greenville/Greer-based folks it is definitely worth the drive. It's good to get away from Main Street and take in the peace and quiet and greenery, and delicious food.”

“Everything was great. The problem is the price of the food on the bill is higher than the menu price. There is a “discount” for cash but I don’t know if that equals the price listed on the menu. Also, the sales tax is calculated on the higher price. Very deceptive.
They should bill at menu prices and charge a fee to use credit cards.”
