I like Basil Thai for the most part, but it is a bit pricey for what you get and the basic food quality. I have never dined in, only picked up or DoorDash. The ambience seems pretty cool, and the hostess's customer service is always great. I ordered pad Thai to-go, and it was $30 with tax and tip. When I opened the bag I was shocked at what a sad little portion my $30 had purchased. It was good, but come on, that's a lot of money for a handful of rice noodles.

I would rate Duke's Thai above Basil Thai but the atmosphere is better at Basil Thai. Appetizers were good (chicken and beef kebabs as well as shrimp spring rolls). Volcano shrimp was decent. Pad Kee Mow was honestly a little disappointing, rather bland.
