Columbia Craft Brewing Company Brewery • $
520 Greene St, Columbia

“While in town for a competition, we stopped by to enjoy the beautiful weather on the upper patio. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful conversation with the bartender. The beers were excellent, but keep in mind that the selection on the upper patio is limited. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, be sure to ask about the options available downstairs.“

Bierkeller Brewing Company Brewery • $
600 Canalside St Suite 1009, Columbia

“A very come-as-you-are, good vibes kind of place.

Of course the beers are great. That’s what we come for, then stay for everything else:

- The authentic-tasting German-inspired food. Whenever a new special is posted, the kitchen always nails it.

- The friendly, familiar staff running things efficiently.

- The new beer releases, food specials, live jazz, live bands, festivals. The place is always evolving.

Their Tuesday all-day happy hour/token night is a great deal and very chill. Thursday trivia night is a fun vibe too.

Great place to watch the sunset, bring out-of-towners, cool off in the summer since it’s by the canal and shady. Outdoor fire pits and indoor bier hall make it cozy in the winter.

It’s great seeing all kinds - families, friends, kids, dogs, students, couples, networking groups, biking/walking/running groups, religious groups, people I haven’t seen in weeks or years - all hanging around having a good time.

The origin story of this place is pretty cool too. Hubs and I jumped in at their first Oktoberfest pop-up in 2016 and have been following ever since. Been coming about once or twice a week since they opened this location. Columbia needed this. So glad it’s here.“

Hunter-Gatherer Brewery/Taproom Brewery • $$
1402 Jim Hamilton Blvd, Columbia

“Nice battery brewery with small menu of traditional bar food. Wide selection of beers that is updated regularly. Not a huge selection of food, but the pizza I ordered was fairly large and tasted like pizza. A lot of space to sit so large groups can be accommodated, including both indoors and outdoors. The building is an old airplane hanger and includes a large amount of brewing equipment which is really cool to see. A great spot to hang out and drink with friends.“

“We are from Missouri here for the Army graduation and looked on google for restaurants near our hotel. This did not disappoint, they have earned their google rating. This food was so good! Our server, Malik was great as well! We will be back before we leave.

The mozarella sticks were so good, the pizookie too! I had the chicken parm and was pleasantly surprised, it was great!“

Savage Craft Ale Works Brewery • $$
430 Center St, West Columbia - 1.38 miles

“I brought my dog in to hang out before she was put down and Haley was a star! She went out of her way to get ice cream for Ellie among other things. I’ve always had great experiences at Savage, but the compassion, caring and love that Haley showed was unreal. I would hire her on the spot at BMW. Kudos to you guys for running your business the right way!!!!“
