“I work in the area and there really isn't much around in the way of food. That being said I was very hesitant to even try anything but I've had the take out before and it was pretty good. Today however I was treated to the buffet. I had the hamburger steak smothered with gravy, mashed potatoes, pintos, lima beans and a roll along with sweet tea. Everything was well seasoned and the portions, especially the double meat, were generous. For the price what you're getting is a steal. If you're in the area and hungry I recommend it.“

“We went last week for lunch. It was great, had not been in about 2 years or so but Wanda never fails. She spoke to us as soon as we walked in. Chatted on and off while we were there. If you haven’t been there, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.“

“This is some of the BEST soul food I have ever had! It is best to call ahead because the wait can be long. As a MI girl, we don't get good cooking like this, especially from a little out of the way road side diner. You can also get a cold beer or 2 while you wait!“
