“It was good. The bar could have been kept up a little better as the BBQ was low and getting dry and some items, like corn on the cob, were not replenished until we were about ready to go. I liked the fried chicken and the banana pudding was very good. I don't know if I would make the hour or so long trek back to Florence for it though...“

“Found this place on Google while driving from Washington, DC to Miami, and I’m so glad I stopped. This is a fantastic BBQ spot.
I ordered the two-meat platter with chopped brisket and ribs, plus collards and mac & cheese. At the manager’s recommendation, I also added the wings—four dry-rubbed and four BBQ—and that was one of the best decisions of the trip.
The standouts were hands-down the chopped brisket, collards, and wings. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, the wings were juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the collards were outstanding.
On top of the amazing food, the service was top-tier. Cayden and the manager were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish—true Southern hospitality at its best.
If you’re passing through, this place is absolutely worth the stop!!“

“My husband and I walked into Longhorn after waiting at a nearby restaurant for 13 minutes and not even having our drink order taken. We were greeted by smiling faces at Longhorn, immediately seated and drink order taken less than 2 mins after being seated. Our server was SAMUEL and he was amazing! Very professional and personable and had a smile the entire time. I told him about our experience before we left and was shocked when he informed us this was only his 2nd night on the floor!! We all definitely be going back and I hope we get Samuel each time! If you want a pleasant dining experience in a wonderful atmosphere with an amazing server, please go check out Longhorns in Florence!!“

“Saw a post on Florence food social media so thought I’d give it try. It’s a gas station/country store with restaurant at the back. Seating is available. I was to early for the buffet (served at lunch until 2 pm and then at 5pm) so I got a burger. It was one of the best, if not the best, burgers I’ve ever had. Will definitely go back for the buffet next time and they even serve ribs during lunch as well as dinner.“
