“I was just passing through after a weekend visit with family, hoping to grab some breakfast. While I didn’t find breakfast, I stumbled upon the next best thing — and honestly, it might’ve been even better.
The meat-and-three selection here is huge, and everything looked amazing. I ended up with the oxtails, and they were falling-off-the-bone tender. For sides, I went with mac and cheese, beans with pickled okra, greens, and rice — and every single bite was packed with flavor. You can taste the love in the cooking.
The women running the place were as sweet as their iced tea — warm, welcoming, and full of that Southern hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
We’re already planning to come back next month. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re anywhere nearby!“

“This is some of the BEST soul food I have ever had! It is best to call ahead because the wait can be long. As a MI girl, we don't get good cooking like this, especially from a little out of the way road side diner. You can also get a cold beer or 2 while you wait!“

“Me and my wife took our son there so we could listen to live music and he can play on the blowup water slide..WE HAD the best time.. brought a cooler, and we listened to awesome music in a beautiful atmosphere. Great food!!! Great service. Everyone was so chill and awesome. Honestly you can't ask for a better time. You get to have fun with other adults and your kid is playing with others having an awesome time.. Definitely felt like paradise.“

“We hit a backup on 95 and decided to find a place to eat in Santee. We're grateful for the backup, because otherwise we'd have never found Santee Seafood Bistro! The food was great and the people were even nicer. Portions were very generous and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong stopping here.“

“My husband and I ate here for dinner on 6/17 and had a delicious meal. For an appetizer we loved the crawfish tails. They were tender and had a nice crunch to them. The prime rib was out of this world..medium rare.. juicy and tender.My husband had the Sea Scallops and he like them with the Cole slaw. And best of all our server, Sadie. Because it was my hubby's birthday, she brought him a piece of cake. Thank you Sadie .“

“So the motzarella sticks were ok but not that impressive tbh. The steak was huge portion and really good. They custom made me a steak with extra garlic and butter to help with my allergies since I'm allergic to most other spices. The sweet potato fries were really impressive too! The fried cheesecake was so good. This was my first time having it and I'm so glad I tried it! It comes with ice cream. Our server Mary Anne was so nice. Very good service. Come here!!“

“Used to go on golf vacations with my dad, stayed at nearby motel, but had breakfast here quite a few times. Never heard of it (it's a chain, I eventually learned.), but I swear the mascot was a cartoon character wearing old fashioned helmet, no? Food was always simple, well prepared, and downright CHEAP, as I recall. If I ever make it back. I'll definitely have breakfast at the Huddle House for a reunion! Joe, Bronx, NY“

“My man Roderick was slammed and was by himself. He still had a great attitude, rocked out fabulous food and was super nice to everyone. My little man 8yr old woke at 4am and was hungry. He loved it! Food was great. Thank you brother!!“

“Excellent place to stay! Incredible location. 2 Nice boat ramps. Property is very neat and clean. We stayed in the boathouse which is right on the water. They also have an onsite restaurant which is very good.“
