“We are still exploring eats in florence an went to lil d's dugout tonight. My husband had the buffett and I had a cheese steak. My cheese steak was really good different than what I was expecting. I was expecting a sub style roll instead was on a very good bun. It was nice an cheese an the steak was truly good. My husband said his wings he ate where good as well. But I will be honest I truly loved their fries this is the first place I found that actually had malt vinegar!! And the fries where nice an hot super yummy. The staff was warm an welcoming. Over all had a wonderful experience and left happy with a full tummy. Highly recommend checking them out you won't be disappointed.“

“Tonight was my first time at Victors and it was amazing. From the time I walked in and was greeted with the biggest smile from Sharonda to my amazing server Sheldon, thank you guys so much for your kind hospitality. The food was delicious and you could tell that it was prepared with love. The aged ribeye just melts In your mouth. The broccli with the pimento cheese and lobster mac and cheese was also delicious. Their chefs are fabulous cooks. My overall experience was great 10/10. Biggest thanks to the GM Jonathan, thank you so much for having me. “You know how memories of a place often exceed the reality? Not so with our recent stop at Shoney’s in Florence, SC. We used to drive the I-95 corridor to Florida every year when our kids were small, and the favorite stop for us and our kids was Shoney’s. We haven’t been in many years and it lived up to our fondest memories. We had their Thursday buffet which included a beautiful salad bar and an outstanding breakfast bar. Everything was fresh, and the hot foods were hot. Delightful French toast sticks, sausage was tasty, country gravy was yummy, macaroni salad flavorful. Blueberry muffins were fluffy and delicious. And much much more. Service was prompt with frequent check ins. We will definitely be back.“

“We went to the Town Hall twice this week. Both nights we had exceptional service with Lane and Anna. The food was cooked to perfection. The grilled swordfish and pimento grits were delicious. We both had filets one night and they ate tender and very tasty. Definately will be back on next visit“

“I discovered this restaurant on my way to Savannah and have eaten here two times in tempo Dey’s because it’s that good! The burnt ends are amazing and I had them as an entree and added to the Warm Goat Cheese Salad. The service is stellar as well! “Hands down probably the best waffle house on I-95 in north or South Carolina! I am a truck driver and I have been to quite a few. The service and the staff and the cleanliness was awesome, but I always hit this one when running between the Carolinas and Florida.“

“While at the library, I was feeling a bit hungry so I checked to see what was around within walking distance. Townhouse popped up and when I saw they had Greek food, I knew I had to try them. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. After perusing the menu, I ordered a gyro, fries, and a lemonade for dine in. I found a nice table by the window and observed the traffic coming into the restaurant as well as those using the drive thru window. This place had people coming and going nonstop! My food was quick to be made, and piping hot. The fries were delicious and the gyro wasn’t bad either. The gyro meat did look and taste as though it was a mass produced (square cut pieces with slightly dry edges) and previously frozen item, but the spices were pretty close to what I was expecting. The flat bread it was wrapped in was okay, but had a mass produced flavor as well. Overall, my meal wasn’t too bad for a local family restaurant and the fact that they stayed busy the entire time I was there (between lunch and dinner) shows they have good food overall and the locals love them. I would eat there again to get my Greek food fix.“

“Some of the best beers are served up at this brewery. It was at a convenient location for us to stop at mid-day. We appreciated the early opening time. We walked in and found a taproom/restaurant that was very clean and well maintained. The decor was modern and inviting. Danny greeted us at the door and he couldn't have been nicer. He was our bartender too and was very accommodating to our tastes. There was a really great selection of different styles of beer and we picked what we wanted for a flight and took up Danny's suggestions for the next one. All the beers were very good or better. The most amazing ones were the Beach Peach Wheat Ale and Green Strings Märzen. We also met the owner who delighted us with the story of the brewery itself and informative facts about craft beer in SC. Between the bartender, Danny, and the owner, the folks at Southern Hops were warm and friendly and made us feel welcome. We came to try the beer and didn't try the food. Maybe next time we will come for a meal too. We would like to visit again soon and try more of the great tasting brews.

“It was good. The bar could have been kept up a little better as the BBQ was low and getting dry and some items, like corn on the cob, were not replenished until we were about ready to go. I liked the fried chicken and the banana pudding was very good. I don't know if I would make the hour or so long trek back to Florence for it though...“

“When we needed a hearty breakfast at 6 in the morning before a 8-hour drive up I95, this Waffle House delivered. Food was quickly served by the friendliest waitress just beginning her shift.“

“This past weekend I used Cibo’s to cater a family dinner for 15 people. I asked for chicken fettuccine Alfredo which wasn’t on their catering menu (at least that I could find) as requested by my 6 year old birthday girl and they gladly stated they could make it. They provided salad, bread, tea, plates, utensils, napkins and even walked everything to my car and loaded it for me. The food was praised by everyone and there was leftovers for us to enjoy for lunch the next day. The ordering process and experience was top notch. I will absolutely be ordering their catering service for large parties in the future. The food was absolutely delicious. The easiest experience ever. After a long day of playing in the sun, it was wonderful not to have to think about making dinner and take that time away from spending with my family. Thank you!!“

“This review is my nostalgic memories of 1974, 75, 76, 77. We lived around the bend on King Ave. I taught at the 6th grade center across the street and Ron taught at FMC. We loved our life there and still have dear friends in town though we moved back to Florida in 1995. BEST HOT DOGS IN TOWN!“

“First time here with my fiance . I can confidently say , this won’t be the last . I saw that they were advertising this scrumptious chicken sandwich and I just knew I had to try it . We have 1,000 chicken places in Florence but this was by far , the best sandwich I had in years !!!! My fiance had the wings and he is obsessed with, even order extra to take to work the next day (probably to brag to his co workers about how good they were ). He loved the beer that was recommended (some orange creamsicle tasting beer lol) & the environment was very nice , clean , friendly & it was 1,001 degrees outside but felt so good inside . I love the food & will definitely be back (probably today) lol“

“We stopped in here on a friday night around eight pm, party of two. We sat at the bar even though half of the restaurant was open with available seating.

We had stopped into another restaurant to have dinner. However, I just didn't feel the vibe. That was not the case here. The moment we walked in, I just adored the place. From the old school sign outside to the warm, friendly atmosphere inside, I was hooked (it may have been the counter full of delicious appearing baked goods that sealed the deal for me).

The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Of course, I ordered a margarita, top-shelf salt rim. The margaritas were great, and we ordered an appetizer of chicken fiesta dip at the same time. Not long after that, this is when a divine intervention took place. I have to mention that while we were waiting on that divine intervention, we were served biscuits that are handmade here. The best i've ever had, and that's not an exaggeration. I was informed that they do sell them frozen for those who want to prepare them later at home. I didn't think it could give any better.

There was a couple sitting to our left, and they had ordered an appetizer around the same time as us. Our bartender mistakenly provided us with the best pizza dip ever ( the appetizer, our neighbors to the left, actually ordered)! She told us we should go ahead and sample that because it was her mistake while we waited on our chicken fiesta dip. Best mistake ever because that pizza dip was out of this world! The chicken dip arrived not long after that, and it was wonderful but didn't hold a candle.

Since we had 2 large bowls of appetizers, we did not order an entree, and I did not get a picture of either of the appetizers because the second I tasted that pizza dip, my world changed.

I did order a praline caramel cheesecake to go, which I shared with my son once. I got home, and holy Toledo, we were both in heaven!

The dessert case looks like heaven on earth..... Everything is made fresh inside this restaurant, and honestly, it couldn't have been any better. I will absolutely be back to try everything on the menu, which will probably take me the next five years.“

“First this restaurant could improve by honoring the times of operation posted. If your open till 9pm then remain open till 9pm. We arrived at 815pm. Sat at a table got our drinks and menus. When we went to place our order the owner and staff said they closed at 830pm. Umm we were there before 830 as well as you advertised to be open till 9pm. Then very rudely but unprofessional stated we could have our two tea's. This is the second time this has happened to us here. The first time they at least let us know when we walked in. We will never go back! They don't care about business. I ask all my Masonic brothers to boycott this establishment! Also I do believe this establishment is RACIST!!! Read other reviews!!!“

“I had forgotten about this gem. The lovely ladies seasoning the food are truly gifted. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted Wonderful! Our waitress CC was Excellent! I don’t understand the complaints from other patrons. If I want a dining decorated my tastes I’ll eat at my own house. The restaurant was clean and constantly being wiped down. “What a hidden gem this place is. For years I just thought it sold hams and such for holidays and big occasions. I was driving by and saw cafe in the name and I stopped in and got a sandwich and side and meal. Now I’ve come back several times for lunch. The staff is so friendly and nice and the service is great. The food is WONDERFUL! I’ve gotten the tavern sandwich and chips and a turkey sandwich and the potato salad and a ham and turkey sandwich with the broccoli side and a salad another day. All were very good! The sweet tea is brewed and is delightful not that nasty fountain kind. Stop in and give them a try you will not be sorry you did! YUMMO“

“This place right here is permanently pinned for when I travel down south. The ribs were fantastic and the wings were on another level. The wife really enjoyed the ribs. The mac and cheese along with the bbq baked beans were also delicious. But them ribs are the star of the show. If you don’t eat pork the wings are highly recommended. We cannot wait to go back! This was a last minute thought for dinner but we are more than grateful with our decision. 10 out of 10“
