“A friend and I stopped in out of curiosity and absolutely loved the place! We had breakfast and my eggs, grits, and toast were phenomenal! Definitely made for a Southern audience as the sweet tea was better than it even could have been at a fast food restaurant. My friend got the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns and she fell in love. We both hope to come back soon. 10/10 would recommend to others.Kid-friendliness: Open and spacious, with plenty of seating, and quiet, radio-friendly music“
“My family from DC, Cleveland, Miami and Florence visited this restaurant for my mom's 80th birthday lunch. The food was fresh and delicious! The fried chicken was the best we've ever had! The service/staff was absolutely amazing. Southern hospitality at its best! We were so impressed, We went back 3 times in a week! 5 stars for everything!!!“
“I haven't had one thing that wasn t good the chicken salad on toast is great ,the cheeseburgers are great fries or chili cheese fries are a local favorite ,the bar b q sandwich with or without slaw is the best pulled pork sandwich around and the service is outstanding someone will take your order as soon as you walk through the door and they all have pleasant attitudes and very rarely do they make a mistake they get you in and out as quickly as possible .I've never left there disappointed or feeling like I didn't get my money's worth ,good people and a friendly staff“
“There's something about walking into a mom and pop diner. It's the conversation going around the room, the smell of coffee and good food being served and wonderful waitresses who know their customers by their first name. I'm not a local to Darlington but this place sure makes you feel at home. Thank you for your wonderful service and true to life southern hospitality to the "Joe's Grill" staff. Btw the food was delicious too.“
“First time checking out the place and loved it. Small, but we didnt go inside and opted for the convenient drive-thru. Service was quick and friendly. The food has soul in it for sure and was spot on deliciousness. Cant say the big chains will see us again now that we've discovered this gem!“
“Clean place, few customers were inside so it was rather quiet for a WH at 6pm on a Friday night. Sure that will change around 11 or 12 midnight. Service was good, food was as good as it gets for WH.Did have a bit of a fly problem though but, it is spring in the south and that's what you get.Parking: Plenty of parking plus handicapped. Entire parking was clean, not trashy.Wheelchair accessibility: Spaces were van accessible and the ramp up was easy to navigate as were the doors.“
“While passing through Darlington today decided to stop at Holt Bros BBQ. Decided on a 5 rib plate with fried Okra and hushpuppies. The ribs were some of the best I have ever eaten. The Okra was cooked to perfection and the hushpuppies were also very good.I am surprised at some of the reviews but what I got today will lead me back here again in the future.“
“Food was mixed. The cheeseburger wasn’t so great. I didn’t get the chili on it that I asked for. The wings had great flavor. The buffalo sauce had a kick to it but wasn’t too spicy to enjoy. The ranch dressing was really good, and the fries looked and tasted like fresh cut potatoes.All in all not a bad experience but also not one that makes me interested in returning.“
