“Food was delicious. I had blackened catfish over rice and the best collards ever as a side. My husband had the stuffed chicken, collards and baked mac and cheese. Excellent. Service was great, and the staff delightful. We stayed at Tru by Hilton nearby Wednesday April 10, and the woman at hotel desk told us food was great there. We were so glad we tried it. Wish I lived nearby, I’d be a regular. Unfortunately we were heading back from Florida to eastern Long Island, but I’ll make sure to stop in Florence again when going that way, since I know we can have a delicious meal there. Thank you!“

“First time visiting Florence, SC and chose Tubb’s based on online reviews. Glad we did! The fried flounder with hush puppies and sides of Brussel Sprouts (tastiest I have had in a long time!) and Hoppin’ John soup (Southern classic) were all excellent. (Photo). Caution: the large portion is LARGE. My wife had fried shrimp with fries and slaw - she was very pleased. Our waitress Kelly was a true professional: quick to answer questions, open to make recommendations (which we were glad we asked) and showed genuine concern for us as customers. Thanks, Kelly!“

“The deviled eggs with crispy oysters were one of the best appetizers I've ever had! The food was good although I thought my duck was a little over cooked. It was very( too) cold due to air conditioning and several women had to grab coats and one lady got a blanket out of her car. “I went today 12/30/23 to pick up something quick for my mom who was just released from the hospital.The order was wrong which they corrected it should have kept the other food. Eggs were hard when we asked for scrambled medium and cold. My eggs were not even cooked still very raw. It wAs poached but raw not good so I never got my eggs then I had a handful of cold potatoes. She clearly just moved the potatoes from one bin to another. Egg muffin was the same not fresh and the Canadian sausage was dry. Very disappointed. Will not be going back for a while. Hire cooks who don't have an attitude when u ask them to coôk it over“

“We’re from central Massachusetts. We were on our way down to Disney, and were staying the night in Florence, SC. I did a quick search on Yelp, thought the menu for 1720 looked good, so we decided to give it a try. I have to say, it’s been a very long time since I was that satisfied/overjoyed by the food in a restaurant. My kids, my husband and myself were floored by the food we ordered. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Our service was exceptional (despite them being understaffed), and our overall experience was one to remember. We haven’t stopped talking about that food since the night we ate there. Wish we lived closer.“

He gave me a brewery tour and educated me, a decades old homebrewer.He crafts excellent beer, but more importantly, is an embassador that welcomes any and all as friends.“

“This is a great little local italian restaurant in my hometown. Great food with a nice family atmosphere! The lasagna and chicken marsala are 2 of my favorite dishes. But, don't be afraid to branch out! My husband tried the chicken and spinach manicotti, and it was delicious!“

“My husband always gets the pizza, sometimes he has a burger. He always orders the pizza with no sauce or oil and no extra seasoning sprinkled on top. He's allergic to garlic and onions. Several times we've had the kitchen manager take time out of his very busy schedule to come talk with us about the allergy note the waitress put on the order. We typically go on a Friday night to hear the live music and it is crowded so for him to come out and talk directly with us was something! We aren't beer drinkers so we can't comment on the brews. Love the fact that they do some special meals. I've had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and Leroy Brown sauce. It's my favorite of the specials. The ham and Gouda cheese egg rolls are awesome too! Recently, I stepped out of my normal order and asked if they could modify the BLT and put pimento cheese instead of mayo. They were more than happy and now I have another favorite menu item! The pretzel and honey butter is always a hit!!“

“I had the Tzatziki And Pita and the grilled shrimp melt. Both were absolutely delicious!! I thought the pita and dip/spread was like a side item but I could have ordered it alone and had a full meal. Definitely will eat both of these menu items again..and again“

I saw on review commenting that this was a little mom and pop shop run by this older couple. We decided to go. When we walked in, we knew it was going to be authentic from decor, menu and the TV in the back playing Thai music program.We ordered the red curry and pad thai which were both fantastic. I conservatively ordered the medium spice level and wish I ordered the hot. Was not expecting the flavor profile for a place in this area. “Apparently when you do to-go boxes, you can't use the containers how you want to. I don't use sauce, so I put a little corn nuggets in mine instead. Employee came up to me and said those are sauce cups. I said I know, but I don't use the sauces so I decided to do this instead. He said I can't do that because it's a sauce container and I can't put food in it. I said, um I paid for the take out so I think I can use the container for food if I want.
