“I'm not usually a fish camp lover just because I prefer broiled or steamed seafood I don't really like it fried. But my employer likes to go here and the last two times we've gone the food was amazing. None of the food tasted greasy It was light and airy. The hush puppies are great especially with the honey butter. I like both the sweet and sour slaw. They did a remodel not too long ago and the interior just looks beautiful. I love what they've done to the place. Their candy boat is phenomenal! I once turned my nose up to fish camp food but I will now be glad to say, Let's Go Eat at the Catawba Fish Camp. I also have to give praise to our waiter Jack/Jackson. He was so friendly so attentive and just an all-around good kid. I told my employer I didn't think they made kids like that anymore, I only see them in lifetime movies. Haha! So if you go be sure to ask for Jack because he's just such a sweet guy and one of the best waiters I've experienced in forever. Give him a raise!!!! 😆“

“I had lunch there today for the first time with my cousin. It will not be my last. We both had T-bone steak, baked potato, and Cole slaw. The steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and flavorful. The baked potato was just right. The Cole slaw delicious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall a great experience.“

“On 8/7/2024, a friend was stuck working 2 jobs in Lancaster & didn't bring lunch & I live in Lancaster & was leaving Ft Mills after physical therapy. The friend offered to buy something to eat.

Although for me, not much healthy cooking to chose from in Lancaster & I ate food there before, we ordered, & paid approximately $55.

I don't usually have time to write reviews, although I got in the habit of reading them, especially hotels & restaurants.

I picked up the food, ready & nicely packaged. Honestly, I was hungry but had another stop before drop food off & separated it.

The friend who bought food before, ordered I think a combo steak, vegetables & lobster roll...sounded yummy , but I ordered..combo chicken, scallops & vegetables & had because friend didn't mind me adding a roll..although couldn't make up my mind, because she recommended the lobster roll & I like seafood & we do like similar food. I also got that .

However, even though it was noted less oil, salt & sauce, the sauce they put on the lobster roll tasted hot & nasty, I couldn't eat it so the friend took it. Ok, I"m hungry, got home & started eating the food..the vegetables were very soft. I love fresh vegetables & for it to be around 6 or so, should be fresh & have slight crunch Tasted old, soft & probably was frozen veg...I was angry...friend spent all that money..actually, I was with her when she ordered & it went up at least $10.00.

I called the friend asked opinion, was not happy..I wad not happy ate some of the rice then dumped in garbage..Still hungry & angry..Will never go agan..Ugh. almost $69 hard earned money just not fresh food .trash,!!!!!“

“Everything ( except green beans ) is very good, especially the eggplant Parmesan and excellent seafood, consistently delicious food which is very important. Service is good, prices are reasonable.“

The place is spotless and someone is always welcoming you in and happy to help. One time I just wanted a fry and the sweet girl working the counter gave it to me for free!!!
