“I only got curbside takeout tonight but it was amazing as always. I ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches w/ coleslaw and vinegar based-Eastern NC BBQ sauce. The potato salad here is amazing. Not sure what is in it but I have loved potato salad since I was a youngbuck and this is some of the best I have ever had. My girlfriend got a 3 side plate w/ green beans, fried okra, and cornbread. She loved it. She also got the peach cobbler and thought it was amazing. I highly-highly recommend trying City Barbecue if you are thinking about trying a new place. I will absolutely be back. I live less than a minute from the location I go to.“

There were no complaints from any of the 15 people and that is rare! TJ was very professional, prompt with responding, and friendly. Delivery was smooth and TJ made sure that we had everything that we needed. I also had the pleasure of tasting the food before hand when we purchased food at the July 31st pop up shop. 10/10! The Service:
Our two servers, Lisa and Nora, were absolute rockstars. They were professional, courteous, and incredibly friendly. They were so eager to please and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our guests. Everyone at the party noticed and commented on how attentive and wonderful they were.

The Food:
The food was spectacular and a massive hit with our guests. Everything was delicious, but a few standouts were the tenderloin sliders (incredibly tender and flavorful), chicken salad croissants (light and tasty) and the salted caramel cheesecake bites, which were the perfect sweet finish.
