“We done out all the time since we’re in the industry. 95% of the time we are disappointed but the Famous Toastery did not disappoint. We tried a few things off the menu but what we did try was balanced well. Good depth of flavor in their meals, which is hard to find in breakfast food. The stuffed strawberry and blueberry French toast were both great. We’ll be back when we visit Charlotte again. Compliments to the management and owners. You’ve created a well oiled machine“
“Toast continues to be the best place in Mooresville for consistently great eats as well as service. They anticipate your needs, the food is fresh and straightforward and there’s always a smile to greet you. My fave place in Mville for breakfast or lunch!“
“We had LKN cater our wedding last week. Had a few communication issues throughout the planning period, but nothing that wasn’t easily worked out. The food was outstanding. We got numerous comments saying it was the best ‘wedding food’ they’ve ever had. As I’m writing this, I wish I had some of that risotto…delicious. The owner, Alexander, personally stopped by our table during dinner, to explain that he had to make our cake, as the baker had an emergency. The cake was perfect, and the cupcakes were gorgeous. Thank you, and I hope you can make us dinner again soon!“
“I'm on a roll. excellent dining in the NC, Virginia area this trip has been the rule, but you guys are killing it.The shaved prime rib sandwich with au jus dipping sauce was awesome. I got the brussel sprouts, side.Making the the chef the focus seems to be working.I didn't have enough time to sample all I wanted, but I will.“
“These folks are listed out of Huntersville, but they travel, and I, for one, am extremely grateful for their mobility. They have 2 enormous smokers, and they most definitely know how to use them.Turkey wings, legs, chicken, BBQ, etc. I could go on and on, but I included a close-up shot of their menu for you to look over yourself. They are located on Statesville Ave on Fridays. Right across from the Shell gas station and right next door to Jerry's grocery store in a huge gravel filled lot. There is plenty of room for parking and some picnic tables to sit at as well. The sweet tea is Southern, and the Q is definitely on point, with their own sauce, not quite all Eastern NC style and not quite all Western NC style, but a nice crossover. Loved the potato salad, and the turkey leg was smoked to absolute perfection. You can literally taste the infusion of smokiness in each and every single bite. My co-worker ordered a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries and said they were a big hit as well. The burger actually covered the entire bun. He said the Q sauce was great for dipping the fries as well. You can follow them and see where they'll be located each and every day. They are an independent business, so let's get out there and support their endeavor. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.“
“Ben & Jerry’s have been my go-to ice cream for many years. I had not done a review of this location and we have lived here for nearly 4 years. As one other reviewer said, good ice cream but not cheap. On this visit, I believe my husband paid about 15 dollars plus a tip for just two “small” ice creams. So I can’t imagine what a big family may spend in one visit. But it is so so good!“
“If you're looking for a brunch experience that feels like a victory dance, look no further than Famous Toastery! And let me tell you, our MVP of the morning was none other than Ryan, the charming Carolina Panthers-shirt-wearing server extraordinaire. From the moment I sat down, Ryan brought the energy of a game-day tailgate right to our table. His upbeat attitude and infectious enthusiasm were like a ray of sunshine on an otherwise dreary day. Talk about turning a gray morning into a touchdown celebration! But Ryan wasn't just fun and games—he was also incredibly attentive and ready to tackle any request we threw his way. Whether it was refilling our coffee with lightning speed or recommending the perfect pancake stack, he was always on point. And let's not forget about his charm! With a smile that could rival a winning touchdown grin, Ryan made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire meal. So, if you find yourself in need of a brunch pick-me-up, do yourself a favor and ask for Ryan at Famous Toastery. Trust me, he'll make your morning a winner! Here's to Ryan taking home the gold in the Best Server competition—because he's already a champion in our book!“
“Chef Peter was fantastic, highly recommend!! We booked him and his team to serve dinner for my wife's birthday party at our house and everything was better than we could have hoped for! He was very professional leading up to the date and day of. He allowed us the flexibility to create our own menu with our favorite foods and then worked with us to refine them for optimal taste. He was very friendly and personable and everyone at the birthday party enjoyed chatting with him. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend Chef Peter and Carolina Gourmet to all!“
