“Savory Moments catered the 80th birthday party for my husband a couple weeks ago. I could not be happier. Leslie helped me decide on the menu for 40 guests, guided me as far as the amount of food to order and arranged for delivery, set up and take down for the party. I was actually able to just enjoy my guests and make sure they were having a good time. The party was on 12/27 so right in the middle of the holiday celebrations. We had a variety of food so there was something for everyone and we had plenty left over for a family gathering on Sunday. Pricing was competitive and they provided me a detailed invoice before the party so I could review it and have payment ready. The staff that set up the food was friendly, prompt and very professional. The owner reached out before the party and also afterwards to insure I was happy. I highly recommend Savory Moments.“

Having been to many Northeastern weddings we are used to weddings with an exceptionally high standard of cuisine, and we wanted that same level of excellence at ours. Armin and his team more than delivered.

We were blown away by our meals, and so many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how incredible the food was. Even the smallest touches mattered. I dreamed of having real flowers in my signature drink, and Armin went above and beyond to make it happen.

“This venue is truly a dream come true! Whitney and her staff did an outstanding job. They truly covered everything. They decorated and even set up personal things we got like our audio guest book and welcome signs. Kayla, the morning coordinator, steamed dresses, got mimosas for my bridal party and family, and was soooo sweet and helpful! Whitney made the planning process so easy! We feel like we just got to do the “fun stuff” and she got it DONE! She also made me feel like I was the only bride, it truly felt like OUR wedding was the only one and so important to them - even though they had a PACKED weekend full of weddings the date we got married! Chad, our DJ was PERFECT! He kept the dance floor packed all night and played our top songs. The food was amazing, everyone LOVED the dessert bar. The florals were perfect and they worked with us on additions we had like an extra bridesmaid bouquet, boutonnières for dads and an arch for the ceremony. The photographer was amazing and we thank her for her patience with wrangling our family for pictures 🤣 There are a few extras we decided to add on to our wedding, which I felt were very reasonably priced but I would prepare yourself to spend a little extra than what your first quote is. You will not be disappointed at all. All our outside vendors had nothing but good things to say about the venue and their staff. This venue is truly the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen and I looked into a LOT of venues in this area. The only thing I will say is that there is a dirt road leading to the property and it’s quite narrow so definitely reserve smaller shuttles!“

“These folks are listed out of Huntersville, but they travel, and I, for one, am extremely grateful for their mobility.They have 2 enormous smokers, and they most definitely know how to use them.Turkey wings, legs, chicken, BBQ, etc. I could go on and on, but I included a close-up shot of their menu for you to look over yourself.They are located on Statesville Ave on Fridays. Right across from the Shell gas station and right next door to Jerry's grocery store in a huge gravel filled lot. There is plenty of room for parking and some picnic tables to sit at as well.The sweet tea is Southern, and the Q is definitely on point, with their own sauce, not quite all Eastern NC style and not quite all Western NC style, but a nice crossover. Loved the potato salad, and the turkey leg was smoked to absolute perfection. You can literally taste the infusion of smokiness in each and every single bite. My co-worker ordered a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries and said they were a big hit as well. The burger actually covered the entire bun. He said the Q sauce was great for dipping the fries as well.You can follow them and see where they'll be located each and every day. “Waiting for a seat outside can be long. I never understood why when no one is there when I come but inside of its under a 15 min wait..lol but the service is always good. Food is good as well.

“I am completely obsessed with The Hunter House. The entire vibe is unreal. The wraparound porch, the fire pit out front, the warm lighting… it honestly feels like something out of a movie. And the bar… wow. It has such a sophisticated speakeasy vibe. The cocktails are next level creative. The entire space has this magnetic energy and is just effortlessly COOL.“

“My friends and family were out for a night on the town, in downtown Davidson. After having dinner in Cornelius, we were driving around Davidson and we found ourselves in dire need of a sweet treat upon walking down the beautiful strip that is downtown Davidson we be held the ice cream shop Ben & Jerry’s upon us walking in Trace and Noah immediately greeted us with friendly faces. I was immediately calmed by how nice they were and the delicious ice cream and toppings that topped my ice cream.
These sweet treats mean the world to me and I was immediately teleported to the dairy fields of the farm. Words cannot describe how pleasurable my experience was at Ben & Jerry’s in downtown Davidson. Trace and Noah will have me coming back for more. Keep up the great work.“
