“Always love going here when I’m in town visiting my family and haven’t been able to make it into Cupcrazed in over a year so I was definitely excited to see what they’re serving up these days. The cheesecake was amazing, but the cupcakes were dry sadly. I was really looking forward to a nice dense and moist cupcake .. it was dense, but not so moist and seemed like it was sitting in the fridge for days. Otherwise, cute atmosphere, friendly service, lots of bakery treat options! Try it out and maybe your cupcake experience will exceed mine!

“Sharon and Susan were both incredibly welcoming and kind! For my meal, I opted for the chicken chorizo hash with eggs over easy, accompanied by potatoes, peppers, onions, and cheese. I thought the dish could have been enhanced with some queso since it felt a bit dry (might have been because I left the salsa off). Although they offer the hangover hash, it doesn't include a biscuit. The biscuit 👌🏼 and the jelly they serve is truly exceptional. I also had the grits, which were definitely creamy and pretty good—probably some of the best grits I've had at a restaurant for sure. I decided to try the grilled macaroni and cheese, which was a baked and grilled version. While it was tasty, I believe it could have been more flavorful, but it was still enjoyable. My main issue was that the food on my breakfast plate wasn't warm enough; I prefer to see steam rising from my food. Despite that, everyone was very pleasant, and the menu is quite impressive. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the food is served hot and to pay attention to any lint on the plates from the drying process. Overall, it's a nice, straightforward breakfast spot with a unique menu.

“Overall this was a good experience. Celebrating our granddaughter's 18th birthday we made our reservation at Open Table for 6. I like getting an email reminder that we confirm we are coming a day before.\n\nWe entered the restaurant and after waiting a short time were greeted by a hostess, she seemed to struggle finding our reservation when another person came to assist. After determining our reservation she said to wait a minute and she went over to a table and placed silver roll ups and menus on before coming back and asking us to follow her to be seated. \n\nWe were greeted pretty much immediately by our server who introduced herself and welcomed us to the restaurant. She told us her name was Aminata. She was very friendly and pleasant throughout our experience.\n\nShe inquired if we wanted to order drinks and we placed our drink order. I order and Michelob Ultra ($6.49) and others in the party ordered Shirley Temple ($3.69); Pibb Extra ($3.79); Peach Boba Breeze ($5.79) and Ice Tea ($3.79). After serving beverages we ordered. I ordered some appetizers to share. Spare Ribs ($15.59); Vegetable Spring Rolls ($8.99; Pork Egg Rolls ($9.49) and Crispy Green Beans ($11.29). We also ordered our entrees, Orange Chicken ($17.79); Changs chicken ($18.59); Mongolian Trio ($26.29);Beef with Broccoli ($15.59) and Honey Chicken ($18.59) We all commented how prices have increased with inflation.\n\nFood quality was very good with good sized portions. Appetizers were served first and we worked on those, shortly after our entrees were brought to the table. All food was proper temperature. Our server checked on us often for satisfaction. \n\nAminata noted that it was our granddaughters birthday and told her that she could have a special dessert that was served with a special sparkler. “My wife and I wanted to get a cake for our daughter’s 1st birthday. As such, we reached out to Sweet Boutique Bakery. Debbie was very responsive and worked with us in designing a cake that matched the theme of the birthday. Not only did the design come out beautiful, the cake was one of the best, if not the best, cake that I have ever had. Our birthday guests could not stop talking about how good the cake was. Moreover, a couple family members came over the day after the birthday party to have another slice because the cake was that good. Our only regret is that we did not order a larger size because my wife and I only got to eat one slice of cake each. We certainly will be returning customers of Sweet Boutique Bakery.“

There were a few ladies enjoying their time at the bar as well, and I was there waiting for a few family members to arrive and look at all the sales Belk was offering. The bartender was super sweet and efficient. There is plenty of bar seating with a few tables and chairs around the area. I've never seen this before (bar in a department store), but I loved it! Grab a sip, shop, and have fun! Loved it! Especially if you don't want to go into an actual bar, this is definitely a different experience. They offer different types of wines, red and white, alcohol and I believe I also saw a few bite options, but I didn't eat, so I didn't really look into the food situation. Got a pepperoni slice right out of the oven. The crust was the right combo of crispy and chewy. The sauce was simple and focused on the purity of a good tomato puree and there wasn't too much of it. The cheese was also quality and in the right quantity. The slice was also huge (two-plater). So good that I couldn't stop myself from destroying the roof of my mouth. Worth it.“

“great place to pick up (relatively) healthy rice dishes. Lettuce wraps are great (order extra lettuce - they give you alot of the stuff). I like the teriyaki chicken, honey chicken, and orange chicken kids meals (the full size are really full size - too much for me to eat but if you want a big bowl, go for the adult portion). Only disappointment are the desserts - the donuts do not interest me and the brownie was a throw away - it tastes like chalk.

Hey Pei Wei, a small apple pie type dessert would be a nice option (maybe w/ I small scoop of vanilla) - or some other small sweet - but get rid of those stale-tasting brownies or switch vendors (brownies should be gooey & chocolatey)“
