“So, very nice folks and everything went well, but I walked in to an empty coffee shop. As I stood behind the cash register, a very polite barista walked out and asked me if I had the app, and suggested that things would be much faster if I ordered on the app. I do, and did, and got my order quickly, but I was not really expecting to order from my phone while standing physically inside the location. Again, very polite employees and relatively quick service, but a little outside the norm.“

Due South Coffee is a vibrant spot with a fantastic location, perfect for a quick stop while exploring the area. Nestled in a bustling area with plenty of parking and lots to do nearby, it’s a convenient choice for a coffee break. The atmosphere is lively, with lots of people with laptops, making it a great place to get some work done if you can snag a seat. If not, there are plenty of benches outside to enjoy your drink in the fresh air.
I went with the barista’s recommendation and ordered the sparkling hibiscus tea, which was a total win—crisp, refreshing, and bursting with subtle floral and fruity notes that made it a perfect pick-me-up. Unfortunately, the muffin I ordered was a letdown; it was dense and served cold, so I wouldn’t get it again.
The lack of seating around midday can be a challenge due to the crowd, so you might need to plan for takeout during peak hours. The service is quick and friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. If you’re in the area, Due South is worth a visit for their stellar drinks like the hibiscus tea, just maybe skip the muffin!“

“I have not had a bad experience here. It's always packed, which is great for them and the customers there, but obviously difficult for those of us wanting to sit. I'm glad they're doing well so no complaints about that, just be aware. You may end up deciding pretty quickly to take that coffee to go.
I'm a coffee nerd so I tend to opt for location specific signatures whether it's a roast, house made syrup, spice mix, pour over recipe or whatever. I want to know what makes them who they are.
So being my third time here, I went with a pour over and wasn't disappointed. I don't know which selection my wife chose for me, but it was darker and smooth. It was well poured and they had it dialed in well.
The atmosphere is great in this place with some of my favorite kinds of China and art.“

Prices are a little high but these days everything is so I’d rather support a smaller business than a corp like Starbucks if I can. My friends and I work nearby and grab coffee here pretty often :)“

“Coffee Coffee the North Star in an overwhelming sea of mediocre coffee shops in Greenville. The team here is seriously dedicated to providing good coffee and good vibes. It is the ONLY place in Greenville for a proper matcha, and they keep the bean rotation fresh and interesting. Shoutout Jeremiah, Matt, Jesse, Brock, and the rest of the team here. They're geniuinely good people whose coffee is S-tier.

Also, if there is a food item available, (banh & butter, congee, KAYA TOAST!!!, jen's breakfast sandwich, etc.) you order it. Everything is exceptional.“

“I love this place, but I recently ordered my family 6 of the original Ding teas with Boba with 100% Sugar and all of them were plain and unsweetened. Normally these guys are on it but that was a big bummer ? Would give them 5 stars ? if not, make sure you guys try out your drinks before leaving, mine was takeout so I was long home by the time I tried mine!

Guys I edited my original review, The awesome guys at this place contacted me regarding the experience! I didn't write the original review out of maliciousness or anything of the sort, I LOVE THIS PLACE! But I did want to give a heads up to customers to make sure their drink is made correctly especially when it's pickup and the store get busy. Mistakes happen especially in a place that gets frequented alot like this and during the weekend of course. I completely Understand the slight mistake!! Still I totally appreciate that they went beyond what they needed to do and contact me to apologize. I will definitely go back for their drinks, one experience will not ruin it for me, and their service today has cemented it for me!! ??“

“We stopped here before a meeting yesterday around 9:45am. There was only one woman working but she was sooo pleasant, patient and kind. We both got the same thing a white chocolate mocha and an espresso chocolate chunk muffin. Honestly the mocha was pretty strong. We added a little more sugar to it and once it cooled a little it was still strong but delicious, I really enjoyed it. The muffin had no espresso taste but it was still yummy anyways. “My husband and I love Gelatist! My favorite Gelato flavor is dark chocolate. My husband's favorite is cherries and nut brittle. They also have many cake slices and other desserts. I love the new strawberry chocolate cake, biscoff cheesecake and red velvet cake. Go check them out. You won't be sorry.“

Our children talk about Spill the Beans as if it’s Disneyland to our out of town friends. We love to go on family walks after work when it’s nice out and go up and down the Reedy and then stop in for some STB ice cream as the grand finale. An impressive plethora of flavor options, along with waffle cones they make right there in house - you can watch them make each one in the morning - make it the perfect highlight to take friends and family to when they visit from out of town. Greenville is full of wonderful and unique coffee and ice cream shops, but in our book, Spill the Beans downtown tops the list comfortably. *Grateful tip of the hat to the All-Star baristas in the morning, including Maddie, Leah, and Chloe, who offer the white glove experience every establishment looks for in their staff 🫡“

“This particular duck donuts have the friendliest staff that are more than happy to assist you while ordering. The store is the cleanest from all I have visited. “I've never had the food, due to allergies, but the coffee and tea selections are always delicious!
The service is always wonderful, it's always quiet in the dining room when we go that route, and I've never chosen a bad drink.
The spiced vanilla Chai, in any temperature, is my favorite! Sometimes I add a shot of espresso, which could horribly skew the flavor (esp for these post covid taste buds), if the tea were weak or the espresso bad, but they remain balanced and delicious, which is especially impressive to me.

Dietary restrictions: There are no food options for those with celiac, but that's pretty much anywhere.
There are milk options for drinks, although I did see that the Chai powder does have dairy, so you can't really avoid cow's milk there.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entire front of the building is flat to the parking lot, so even if the handicap parking is taken (so frustrating, I know) it's all easily navigable to get inside. The inside has tables that are spread out and easily navigable, as well, but I'm not positive how easy it would be if the tables were all full and chairs were pulled out. I will try to be a bit more cognizant of that next time. I usually am, because of my son, but I've never seen all of the tables full at once to register a maybe issue, either.“
