The Cesar salad remains amazing, and the cheeseburger is still heavenly, while the fries are considered some of the best ever. Hush puppies are soft inside, maintaining their appeal. The staff, including the wonderful server Jayme, is knowledgeable and personable, making for a pleasant dining experience. Guests can enjoy live music, great drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere on the patio. The fish and chips are okay, but the crab cakes continue to be excellent. The Captain's Trio, loaded with scallops and shrimp, has been noted to need improvement in temperature. The vegetables served with it were tasty and crispy, which is a positive. Captain Woody's is a place to dine and relax in South Carolina, perfect for those who want to enjoy a meal without worrying about Covid.
