“This is some of the BEST soul food I have ever had! It is best to call ahead because the wait can be long. As a MI girl, we don't get good cooking like this, especially from a little out of the way road side diner. You can also get a cold beer or 2 while you wait!“

“I was just passing through after a weekend visit with family, hoping to grab some breakfast. While I didn’t find breakfast, I stumbled upon the next best thing — and honestly, it might’ve been even better.

The meat-and-three selection here is huge, and everything looked amazing. I ended up with the oxtails, and they were falling-off-the-bone tender. For sides, I went with mac and cheese, beans with pickled okra, greens, and rice — and every single bite was packed with flavor. You can taste the love in the cooking.

The women running the place were as sweet as their iced tea — warm, welcoming, and full of that Southern hospitality that makes you feel right at home.
