“My family is from out of town and we were driving through Holly Hill looking for something to eat. On Google I saw pictures of Sequoyah’s macaroni and cheese and was immediately sold. We went inside and the lady who took our order was extremely nice and informative on the menu choices. You can tell there is so much pride in the food they serve, and everyone who was working never skipped a beat. The macaroni and cheese was very good, but the collards was probably my favorite thing. I have never had better collards than at Sequoyah’s. You can’t beat the price, quality, and friendly faces. I’m so glad we had the opportunity to stop in to eat at such a great establishment.“

“This place is my go-to place for home cooking. The soul food is Amazing!! The Oxtails are awesome. Sweet and tender. Love them!! The Pot roast is so delicious. Fork-tender, slow cooked and with their Yellow Rice a true winner. The service is fast and friendly! They have daily selections on the chalkboard.“

“While the store is more of a To-Go type of place, the interior of the store was clean and the team was very nice. Service was a little bit in the slow side, but their homely feel made it worthwhile. You can tell the cooks put their time and energy into the food, versus big companies that just use smoke and mirrors. I enjoyed my service here, despite it being a little slow and constricted to To-Go only.“

“I have had their food twice and I think they are the best. Very good shrimp basket and fried ocra and my wife loves the Alfredo. We also think the the salads are the best. We will going again to try another dish.Parking: Parking lot needs to be bigger due to the amount of customers.“
