“This is the closest Chinese food restaurant to me. The food is always fresh no matter the time of day it's ordered. The staff is quick and friendly. You can't eat inside anymore, but they have a drive-thru window that makes it super easy to get your order when you call ahead.”

“I had attempted to eat here a few times but it was when school was in session in the line was out the door. Today was my lucky day. I came by just after the breakfast crush and was able to place my order to go. The staff was efficient and the owner made sure my order was correct. Hand's down, the very best cinnamon roll I've ever had. I'll definitely be back soon. Thank CRD for a great experience and fantastic food.”

“This is a nice option if you have food allergies. I was able to eat here even on an elimination diet. You can choose a bowl or pita. There are items on the menu, but I always build my own bowl.
I can’t have the dressings, but my bowl always has plenty of flavor.
I also appreciate that the soft drinks have real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. They also offer several other drink options.
My server wasn’t super friendly, but lunch was delicious as usual! I am never disappointed. 😁”

“Wrapped up my first visit to Congaree and having not eaten all day, decided to stop at a local spot before getting back on the road.

Spoke to two gentlemen in line ahead of me who said I wouldn't be disappointed by anything I ordered but recommended the hash specifically.

Got the Big T plate which was hash over rice, pulled pork & choice of side, which for me is always Mac & cheese.

The hash didn't look like much, but was surprisingly good and full of flavor. The mac wasn't overly cheesy but also had good flavor. Both of these dishes would be worth returning for.

My least favorite was the pulled pork, served with a mustard sauce, which I typically enjoy. The texture was just a little mushy for my liking.

“Stopped by for dinner tonight. I ordered the 4 piece Chicken Breast dinner which came with fries, and cole slaw. The chicken was phenomenal, and I was impressed with the cole slaw, which tasted amazing! The service and atmosphere was great.”

“I never leave reviews, but this place is just too good to not share. The drinks are unique and delicious (My favorite is the Island Boi, or the Orange Creamsicle one, or maybe the Coco Loco one 😂😂). And the food is incredible! I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t love. My favorites are the hush puppies, hummus, Veg Fil A sandwich, and the rice and beans bowl. This time when we went, the chef added protein crumbles, nacho cheese, and green onions on top and it was even better. My son loves the Hoot sandwich and he’s 10 years old and usually non-vegan….so that’s a huge compliment to the flavor of that sandwich. On top of all this, the place is just cool. The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting, like I could stay all night if I didn’t have to put my kid to bed! 🤣 I just really love this place and I’m so glad to see it added to our neighborhood!!”
