“We came to New South Kitchen & Bar for a staff meeting lunch with our newly formed team, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was great...Southern comfort done right, and the service was top notch. You could tell the sweet tea was made with love, and the biscuits for the table were warm, buttery, and perfectly complemented by the blackberry jam our server thoughtfully brought out. That little touch made a big impression.

“Everything was excellent at this restaurant! Went for my husbands birthday and Anil made sure everything was taken care of. I even forgot to bring a candle and he had one ready for me so my husband could blow out his candles. We had the prawns for app and the chili chicken. Our entrees were lamb curry, chicken Tika masala, and garlic nan. Sorry no pics because it was so good I forgot to take them! We will definitely be back!“

“Sharon and Susan were both incredibly welcoming and kind! For my meal, I opted for the chicken chorizo hash with eggs over easy, accompanied by potatoes, peppers, onions, and cheese. I thought the dish could have been enhanced with some queso since it felt a bit dry (might have been because I left the salsa off). Although they offer the hangover hash, it doesn't include a biscuit. The biscuit 👌🏼 and the jelly they serve is truly exceptional. I also had the grits, which were definitely creamy and pretty good—probably some of the best grits I've had at a restaurant for sure. I decided to try the grilled macaroni and cheese, which was a baked and grilled version. While it was tasty, I believe it could have been more flavorful, but it was still enjoyable. My main issue was that the food on my breakfast plate wasn't warm enough; I prefer to see steam rising from my food. Despite that, everyone was very pleasant, and the menu is quite impressive. My only suggestion would be to ensure that the food is served hot and to pay attention to any lint on the plates from the drying process. Overall, it's a nice, straightforward breakfast spot with a unique menu.

“The Best Crepe in Charlotte! I have been coming to Crepe Bistro for almost 5 years now. It has become my daughter and I favorite spot for our Sunday morning father/daughter time. She always orders her "usual" nutella crepe with chocolate ice cream. Even when we call to order for pick up, she asks for the "usual" and the super friendly staff knows what that is❤️. This wonderful place will be part of our memories through our whole life. She was about 10 when they opened, and now at 15 she is driving me to Crepe Bistro (permit driving practice). The rest of the family has tried the Elvis Presley, Strawberry cheesecake, Belgian waffle, and we love them. Kind staff, and great food for the whole family. Simply the Best Crepe in Charlotte.“

“My wife and I wanted to get a cake for our daughter’s 1st birthday. As such, we reached out to Sweet Boutique Bakery. Debbie was very responsive and worked with us in designing a cake that matched the theme of the birthday. Not only did the design come out beautiful, the cake was one of the best, if not the best, cake that I have ever had. Our birthday guests could not stop talking about how good the cake was. Moreover, a couple family members came over the day after the birthday party to have another slice because the cake was that good. Our only regret is that we did not order a larger size because my wife and I only got to eat one slice of cake each. We certainly will be returning customers of Sweet Boutique Bakery.“

Got a pepperoni slice right out of the oven. The crust was the right combo of crispy and chewy. The sauce was simple and focused on the purity of a good tomato puree and there wasn't too much of it. The cheese was also quality and in the right quantity. The slice was also huge (two-plater). So good that I couldn't stop myself from destroying the roof of my mouth. Worth it.“
