“My family and I decided to try New South, and I'm very glad we did. My mother-in-law ordered pork chop and absolutely loved it. My wife ordered the grilled flat iron steak; chef's kiss, especially with the sweet potato and bacon gratin. I had the fried chicken, which was pretty good, too. Salads were amazing, and MIL said the fried green tomatoes were the best she's ever had. Do yourself a favor - if you're looking for a solid, flavorful meal, check New South out. Next time I would get it on bread not the crossiant. The crossiant was jusk ok. Not great. It also comes with a pickle which was tough and a sugar cookie. All for $10.29 plus tax and tip. Our waitress Marissa is one of the best waitresses I have come across. From the time we sat down until we left. Her customer service was 10/10. She engaged with my six year old daughter. Even when she was being extra talkative. She still engaged with her every time. To the point where my daughter loved talking to her every time she came to the table and walked by. She laughed and joked with her. Her conversations with my mom and I were super genuine. She took our order in a timely manner. She gave us updates while waiting for our meal. She checked on us throughout our meal. Gave us our drink refills in a timely manner. We didn't have to ask her for anything or wave her down. She was on top of it. She has the perfect personality and pays attention to her customer's. I also observed that she was the same with other customer's as well. “I visited The Flying Biscuit Labor Day weekend which alines with the Matthew's Alive Festival. I was fully prepared to wait for a table and have an extended wait for our food and beverages given the festival bringing thousands of people to the area but that was not the case. We were seated immediately (the hostess were great and very accommodating!) on the outdoor patio with a great view of downtown Matthews. Stacey, our waitress, was great! She was kind, funny, and never rushed us. Our drinks were delicious and food was great. Pricing was comparable to other breakfast spots and the option for a togo coffee was the cherry on top to a fantastic breakfast.

My party consisted of 3 adults and one baby. The high chair that was provided fit the baby well and was clean.“

“My daughter loves the Mac and cheese this is why we go , I am not such a big fan of the rest. But my problem is , everyone I order on the Mobil app, they never put in the condiments . Last time I ordered 2 salads , and 2 kids chicken meals . No dressing or chicken sauce in the bag at all. Now my kids won’t eat . I hate to hold up the drive thru checking they bag but i guess i have to of i ever go back“
