“There food truck was at Bruzze Brewery on Lake Oconee. We were there when they opened at 4pm. The service was great and the food was outstanding. My wife got the lobster roll. I got the tacos. My wife is from New England. We also got some of their clam chowder and she says it was the best she had ever had. It only took us about five minutes to get our order after we placed it in the staff was so pleasant to communicate with.“

“Last night for the first time in my adult life, I sat alone at the restaurant bar at The Bistro. It was cold, wet and rainy outside and I almost stayed home. I ordered Brussels sprouts for dinner and unsweetened tea. I shopped online while I listened to the amazing artist singing live music. From Stapleton to Prince. He even threw in a little Justin Beiber Christmas music. After the show the singer sat with his mama and had dinner. Those last 45 minutes of the night are so precious to me. I am so glad I did not stay home. Thank you to Katie at The Bistro in Irmo. She was a lovely hostess! Thanks to Trey Duncan Sings for a wonderful show and the time I got to spend with him after. “we had a party on 30 that arrived with a reservation just before 9pm that included 16 teenage soccer players. the staff was incredibly friendly, efficient and had fun with the girls, even getting involved with the birthday singing. It was a fun and chaotic night but they were great to work with“

“My waitress was Corey a slim light skinned guy with dreads. He was rude the whole night. We first entered the restaurant there was hardly nobody there he told us it will be a 15min wait. So we sat down and waited in about 10mins 3 people passed us and went and sat down so I got up and told him then he rudely seated us. As we ordered he was looking at the game on the television and gave us no eye contact. I asked for 2 unsweet teas 1 with no ice I got two sweet teas, I told him that it was sweet an I wanted unsweetened but my husband said that he would keep his sweet tea. So the waitress picked it up and brought me a sweet tea again this time with ice when I asked for no ice. So the second time I decided to just let it sit there because he seemed upset. I placed my order and asked for an extra side of potatoes, he said they come in 3 so I said ok I want it. Then my husband asked do potatoes come with his order and the waiter said “yes do you want to add extra” my husband said “naw I’m good” when the order came I had only 3 potatoes which is what comes with the order, my husband had four potatoes that’s three that come with the order and one extra. I looked at the receipt and saw that he charged both of us for an extra order of potatoes. I told him that I don’t have an extra order in mine, and that my husband didn’t order an extra side but if he did, he should have gotten three potatoes, not one extra . He said “yes he did ask for extra” we both said no he didn’t. and he ran to the back talking loud i can hear him say “bro I swear they ordered extra potatoes. We don’t say anything else. We know what we ordered he was too busy watching the TV while we were ordering . He brought the ticket to the table and told us we can pay up front. He didn’t say thank you, have a good night or nothing he never looked back our way. he never even apologized for bringing me sweet tea both times with ice. We left him a $10 tip although he didn’t deserve a dime but he could have gotten more. I’m just not the type to leave nothing. His attitude was so nasty I will not go there again!“

“This is a small, quiet family bar/grille spot just off the lake. I had the tri-tip fajitas, and they were EXCELLENT. Not only the fajitas themselves; the beans on the side were delicious whether eaten solo or with the fajita, and the pico de gallo was extremely fresh and on-point. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

“The food was really good. I do have to say that the hush puppies for a little bit weird. They were shaped like an onion ring and had too much cornmeal for my taste. The service was mediocre. Our waiter was friendly enough but when we asked for ketchup, he bought a massive and full of ketchup packets. I'm not sure what was going on, whether they ran out of ketchup for the bottles or what, I just found it a little bit odd that customers were expected to open packet after packet. I can't really say anything bad about the server, but he didn't do anything to stand out either. The restaurant was almost empty so I can't really comment on the atmosphere. But overall this is a pretty good place to eat.“

“I went in to place a order. The manager Dia tried to over charge me for my order. I get the same dinner each time I go. I Knew what the price of the dinner would cost me. I tried to explain to her that I have order the same dinner many of times. Then she proceeded to say to ME YOU EXPECT ME TO CHANGE THE MENU FOR YOU. I could not believe this woman came at me like that. I folded the menu and proceeded to leave . She said get the hell out of here with anger and attitude. I'm 62 yes old. I could not believe this woman treated me this way. And get this she had the nerve to use the N word. I will be reporting my experience to the nessary authorities and news outlets.“

“Birthday celebration for my wife at MGrille could not have been better!

We held a celebration for my wife’s 75th birthday at MGrille, with about 30 friends. Michelle Wang was wonderful for us to work with in designing the menu and arranging the venue. The food was everything we could have hoped for, Michelle made special accommodations for vegetarians and everything was delicious. The food was kept warm in chafing dishes during the first hour of the party, while we mingled and chatted. When the group was ready to eat, the tops of the chafing dished were removed and folks filled their plates … the food was delicious and perfect for serving. Everyone commented about how great the food was, the two cocktails we picked out for the party were enthusiastically enjoyed and there were also three choices for nonalcoholic drinks. We also greatly appreciate Michelle’s wonderful staff for the party - Leo, Kyle, Payton and Frank, thanks again! The venue was comfortable and generously sized. The baby grand piano was great for the occasion (and thank you to Bert Ligon, a delightful pianist). We are so thankful to Michelle for making this important milestone celebration so perfect, easy for us and special! 👏🥂“

We stopped by Captain D’s and were blown away by how satisfying everything was. The spicy fish had just the right kick—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The fried shrimp were golden and juicy, not greasy, and had that classic crunch you hope for. And the hush puppies? Pillowy, savory, and slightly sweet—exactly what you'd want to round out a seafood feast.

Service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. For a fast-casual spot, Captain D’s really nailed the flavor and quality. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re craving seafood with a Southern twist!“

“These guys were wonderful, they took us even though we came in just a bit before closed with a much larger order than anticipated. I believe we had 3 apps and 4 entree's and drinks but they refused our apologies and took our order enthusiastically. The food was great and the price was amazing. We expected to spend a $100-110 but walked out only having spent $76 with nothing to correct or complain about. Just... don't do to them what we did haha.“

“I always get to go, so can't really speak to the service so much. They are always friendly and almost always have food waiting for me when I get there. The atmosphere is very lively and can be a bit loud, but it's a bar and has pool tables- so you should already expect that before going in. Not a good place for say, a business meeting- but dinner after work with friends or a younger and lively crowd with good drinks- this is your place. This is a family restaurant, but probably better to only bring kids above say 10-12 and up.

Casual attire, you don't need to dress up too much, but I'd still say it's a good spot for a second or third date or just meeting up with friends to shoot some billiards and have a drink.

The food is amazing. We love the mild tossed wings with bleu cheese on the side; the catfish nuggets are TO DIE FOR, as is the fried okra. The fried pork bites are good but can be a little overseasoned dep on who makes them. They have regular and wing chips that are also very good, and their fried Mozzarella sticks are delicious.

All-in-all, we love to come here about once every 3-4 weeks or when in the mood for some of their specialties. Really hope these guys stick around for a long time because they've become one of our top 5 restaurants in town!“

“Chicken tenders are well seasoned and its my late night GO TO Spot For Sure.......BUT 4months later im back here adding this last part. CHECK THOSE TENDERS FOR THE BURNED GREASE EFFECT!!!! I LOVE THEIR TENDERS IN THE DAY TIME IVE FOUND THAT THEY ARE FORCED TO CHANGE THE GREASE! I GET SICK EVERTIME I TRY AN JUST TOUGH MY WAY THROUGH IT BY SMOOTHRING IT ALL WITH RANCH AND HONEY MUSTARD BEING TOO HUNGRY TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK BECAUSE ITS USUALLY AFTER MIDNIGHT WHEN I GET OFF WORK TO COME ALL THE WAY TO AUGUSTA RD..... THE BURNED GREASE TASTE AND SMELL starts creating ALOT OF THAT ACID REFLUX and it comes back out of the nose and mouth when you're awakened to an episode from the TENDERS and that BLACKENED looking BATTER SKIN. Again to be fair, It's Good when I go In the Daytime but unfortunately I work 12 to 16hrs and It's hard to avoid coming at night. The night shift has good customer service overall but the being too lazy to change that GREASE is crazy work when everything you sell most is FRIED and gonna ALL TASTE AND LOOK BURNED. Oh and I'm a REAL SWEET TEA DRINKER....That OLD SPOILING TASTE That happens to the IS fro NOT FULLY AND Properly cleaning the TEA URNS that holds the tea throughout the day and the Bacteria causes a massive decrease in the Tea's Shelf Life As Well. A Pinch of BLEACH to hit those MOLDED CORNERS would change every about your TEA Quality I Promise. I've been In Chefs Coats and SHOES FOR CREWS OVER 20 PLUS Years Of My Life so IM Telling you the Honest Truth. Excuse ANY
errors. I look foward to the improvements though as I'm STILL GOING TO GIVE IT A WHILE AND TRY AGAIN IN A FEW WEEKS HOPEFULLY ALL WILL BE BETTER AGAIN LIKE THE DAYTIME FOOD.“

“delicious food and they give a gargantuan amount of sauce which in my opinion is pretty awesome. the only reason this establishment is not getting five stars from me is because they put my noodies in a strange to go box. the first time i opened it i was baffled to find a large knotted cube in a small styrofoam container. still very delicious but makes it super messy in my fridge and counter and stovetop. best place in the area i would have to say after getting extreme food poisoning from all the other local spots.“

“I came to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had an amazing time, the food was amazing. Ordered an appetizer, it was delicious, shrimp empanadas. Superb taste. Also, ordered the mariscos molcajete, omg!! The octopus and sauce on top was just so tasty. Service was a little slow, as place was packed for Motger Day’s celebration. They had live Mexican music, love it!! they even sang a birthday song for my sister. The waiter, Erica, brought a birthday cinnamon complementary cake as a gift for my sister, she was very attentive. And yes, servers spoke English and Spanish. I recommend this place for any celebration . Love it!!“
