“If you love pineapple, The Pineapple Hut is a must-visit. It’s fun, refreshing, and definitely Instagram-worthy. I couldn’t resist ordering the half pineapple filled with pineapple sherbet and topped with coconut flakes.
I’ll admit—I’m more of an ice cream person, so sherbet isn’t usually my go-to. But the whole experience was still a treat. The flavors are tropical and light, and the presentation adds to the charm. Perfect for a hot day after the beach or just a fun stop while exploring Folly.
Worth checking out, especially if you’re craving something fruity and unique.“

“Had to wait in a short line, but the owner let us know right away. I loved the transparency. It was a cool spot to hangout in and watch the nitrogen ice cream being made right in front of our eyes. The ice cream was to die for! I can’t wait to come back!“

“Been here many times and I would say it is a cute, tiny little ice cream shop. Most recent visit was concerning…they used to have a sign outside the shop allowing just a few people in at once as a covid mitigation strategy. On a recent visit, by the time I got to the register, there was a large group of patrons crowded inside with their small children. The children were coughing, not wearing masks, and the lady who rang up my ice cream must have sensed my discomfort and asked me, “are you ok, ma’am?” I responded, “yes, I just want to get out of here, it’s a bit crowded.” I was told by another patron that she laughed at me on my way out of the shop. There is nothing funny about trying to socially distance, and I won’t be returning to spend over $6 on an average ice cream cone seeing as there is no protocol to enforce masks on children under 12. For the safety of the workers and patrons, maybe consider putting the sign out again that asks you to wait outside the door if another family is already inside. I did just that, but apparently others don’t pick up on these social cues and just pile on into this super small space. I don’t care that I was laughed at for this, but maybe I should be laughed at for spending so much on an ice cream cone.“

“Local ice cream parlor and candy shop in the Charleston s.c. area of city market. When you approach the store, you can smell a distinctive sweet smell as you approach. They a wonderful variety of chocolate goodies they make along with the ice cream shop and candy coated apples. The store is very delightful and kid friendly.“

“Stopped by Waflin for a quick dessert and was blown away! Their menu of waffle and ice cream treats is impressive, and the hazelnut waffle I tried was pure perfection—warm, crispy waffle paired with creamy, cold ice cream. The presentation was top-notch, like a little edible masterpiece. Got a chance to chat with the team, and their pride in their Turkish roots and craft really shines through. Absolutely recommend!“

“The best hotdog to get when visiting Charleston. Started eating them in the late 90’s in college and now bringing my family and friends every time we visit the area! Same great taste every time! We will be back!“

“This was probably the best coffee we had in Charleston! I absolutely recommend stopping in here. While prices are not listed, it's basically the same you would pay at any other coffee shop, but you will have an amazing drink! It's absolutely worth stopping in! It only took a couple minutes for both drinks. 1,000% recommend!“
“The super Mario song had me thinking it was an ice cream truck but ended up being something I never had before, a booze pop. I ended up gettin’ a Watermelon Martini and a vodka lemonade both were 15% Alc and set the temp with it being hot out. Would definitely go back to try more flavors. - 87*“

“I have not been able to try all the cookie flavors just yet, but I’m definitely working on it! I have loved all the ones I have tried so far! The staff here is amazing and can’t forget the pup! I love seeing him when I go in. The guys and Megan all know my coffee upon me walking in and have it ready for me and then we discuss what cookie I should get, I usually get the three pack because they are so yummy!“
