“I was skeptical at first, but the moment I was approached I felt welcomed! I was assured that the food is cooked as ordered and made fresh. I ordered the beef soup. OMG ? when I say delicious, I mean it! So much favor! My stomach have been upset and I didn't have a taste for anything but I knew I needed to eat something to keep my energy up. I picked a great choice, this soup opened me up to eat MORE! A must try. I forgot to take a picture when I first received my order but I believe you understand lol”

“My son and beautiful daughter in love were married this past weekend the day after Hurricane Helene almost destroyed any chance we had of pulling off this wedding. If it had not been for all the vendors that we were blessed to have it certainly would not have happened. Jay at Midway BBQ was amazing!!!! Our venue was Arabella Farms in Sunset SC and the track from Union to the venue was treacherous. We had no power, no internet and we were running the whole thing on generators. Jay made sure that the food was delivered on time through all of that and it was delicious. We had so many compliments. I could go on and on but I will end with this. If he can pull this off in the aftermath of a hurricane just imagine what he can do for you.”

“The "Cheers" of Pacolet - Thomas is the Sam Malone! Coffee (I believe from Little River), lattes/cappuccino, baked goods and even ice cream/sodas/shaved ice in the summers all in a motorcycle-themed coffee house...how cool is that? The Coffee shop is also a bar at night, selling beer, wine and cocktails and offering a pool table and live music. This place is a cornerstone of the Town of Pacolet and of Southern (and all of) Spartanburg County.”

“Awesome coffee shop with a super friendly staff and owner! I travel home to Union 3-4x a year and go out of my way to have a coffee here. I can get my wife and my normal coffee order here for the price of just 1 of those where we live!”

“Really good food. Nice people, clean restaurant and very reasonable prices. We love it. Phone in take out and pick up is a breeze! Has been closed inside since Covid but take out windows remained open. Now you can wait inside although thete is no table service. Take out only.”

“every since I first bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I was sold to deliciousness. I worked for pizza hut at the time and the second time I bought a Hunt Brothers pizza I told the clerks at the store the pizza to me is better than Pizza Hut. then I seen the sign in the window and found out Hunt Brothers has breakfast pizza and it's been a little over four years now and Hunt Brothers pizza is all I buy. what I love is taste, quality, price and fact the toppings don't cost extra. keep up the good work and keep the customers happy. EJ’s haa a true family atmosphere with their entire family all learning & working together to offer their community something a little special. Certainly an unexpected place to find fresh baked breads & cookies made with Organic ingredients.
I had preordered some their chocolate chunk & gingerbread cookies in addition to loaves of their fresh white and wheat bread, then also grabbed subs to take home for dinner too. They have cushiony benches and a family waiting area keeping your children occupied and offering you a few minutes of downtime. You won’t believe how much seating space they are going to have for dining in.
EJ’s may be a diamond in the rough but are well on their way to providing us a place to look forward to going right down the road in Pacolet.

“We stopped in Union, SC and was hungry on a Sunday afternoon. There were no signs pointing to Soul Food or restaurants. And trying to find on phone/internet was to no avail. Asked a worker at a store, and she was kind enough to show us driving to the place, and walked right up to the counter.Back to the Food! It was fantastic. They took pride in preparation and taste, and presented to us. Though there is no INSIDE eating area, it was a great carryout. Taste and Value wise. Off the beaten path because you to have to dig to find gems. The DESSERTS are 5-STAR.If you are in the area, you deserve a treat. And get there early or be hungry! There may be a line...”

Parking: Papa John's is inside the IGA in Pacolet sc and they have plenty of parking and a few handicapped places too.

Wheelchair accessibility: The front of the store is level with the parking lot so wheelchairs can access the front doors. But they don't have any wheelchairs or electronic carts.”
