“This place is truly a treasure to all foodies. I ordered the macho taco and I had a food gasm. The taco was so damn good! I can't even describe all the flavors that were packed in it. If you don't stop here, you're missing out!“

“Great BBQ, very fresh and always good quality every time we go there. The brisket and smoked turkey are my favorite. The family platter is always a great dish to order to sample each thing. You get a lot of food for a good deal too. It lasts a family of 4 at least 2 meals“

“They just opened this location right around the corner from my house and I have to say I've been twice and both times were really good. The atmosphere is really cool inside with tons of TVs. I had the brisket philly and I'll definitely have it again.“

“Ok, it's a restaurant/greenhouse nursery/general store. Maybe it's "different" for some, but let me just say if you want to know what it's like to go eat at grandma's house in the south then just come by Baker's have them fix you a plate. Go early though or they may be out of the BBQ or the brisket. Good home-cooked southern cooking in a darling location with antiques, plants, and a huge koi fountain pond! We sat right by the pond and watched the fish. Do not wear your Sunday best. Just your dungarees and flip flops will do. P.S. Get the Mac n cheese“

“First time visiting, and it was amazing. Everything was good. I went with a group of 15 and the service was amazing, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and they have really funny signs all over the walls. Great place to enjoy good old southern BBQ food. If you are close to the Ladson area .are sure to stop and try this place out.“

“My husband & I love this place. It's like our #1 date day out. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food is good. My go too is the ? noodles, and I make my own sauce. The food is good. One thing I wish I would have asked each time we go is for hot sauce. I love that on everything, but it is so good. My hotpot is ALWAYS the spicy one. He tried them all. All is equally good. We will be back!!!!!!“

“The atmosphere was great with the DJ out front. They were out of some of the food items but what we were able to order was good but the bar tender seemed more interested in smoking outside than serving the customers inside. We had lunch and there was no one else there except the few people sitting outside for the dj.“

“This was my first time eating at Roberts. I ordered the BBQ chicken basket and a couple of hamburger baskets. The customer service at the drive thru was superb and the food was awesome.My family and I really enjoyed the food. I will be back. If you get a chance please check this place out.“

“Holly and Cindy's excellent adventure...we went to longhorns for lunch today and had a wonderful time. The food was spectacular and the service was top notch. We had Lyndsay L ...... waitress extraordinaire and she made everything about the visit stress free. “First time trying this spot out, and i really like it! i had the bbq short ribs w/ rice and cabbage. and i also ordered some spam musubi. the only reason im giving it 4 stars is because i kinda agree with some of the other reviews about how pricey it is considering the portions are a bit small. and the other reason im giving it 4 stars is because i felt like they could pay attention to the orders more, i did order 4 spam musubi and only received 3. they even wrote “3 spam musubi” on the container. but i didn’t realize it until i had already gotten home. but anyways, for the price i paid i could have *at least* gotten everything that i paid for, and for the portions to be a little bigger but other than that, the flavor is there, really good food. nice customer service.“

“Been meaning to try this place for sometime now. The service was great and the food was okay. It's definitely not the best has and rice that I've ever had but it definitely isn't the worst. The pulled pork was good. The baked beans were okay and the onion was great. I will eat here again if I have a craving for pulled pork.“

“This place is definitely an experience. You can tell the building wasn't originally designed for a KBBQ restaurant. When you first walk inside, it looks more like a nightclub than a sit-down restaurant.Good:843 has the highest quality and best flavored meats I've experienced at an AYCE KBBQ and I've been to several. Getting the premium AYCE menu is soooo worth it! Scallops are a rare option at AYCE and that alone makes it worth the price compared to just a seafood restaurant. All of the food and appetizers were amazing though. A lot of different options and even a large menu of a la carte items if you want more variety.Bad:Charging extra for rice at an AYCE is insane! They wanted $5 for a bowl of plain white rice which is unheard of for me. Any Korean restaurant I've been to will pretty much give you rice for free with your meal. Lettuce wraps were extra as well but other KBBQs charge for that too sometimes so that's not as egregious.Service was also slow but they did appear to be short staffed. It took about 15 minutes just to be seated and the restaurant was nearly empty. This didn't negatively contribute to my score though as the staff was pleasant the entire time so I could overlook that.Overall, I had a great time and would definitely consider 843 next time I'm in the area!“

“I order from here frequently to serve my office and every time it is ready and hot when I come by to pick it up. Today I had to wait a little longer than expected and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating. From the host, to the bartender, to the food runners and even owner- every individual I encountered was warm and friendly. I was totally blown away by how A+++ their service is (and the food is delicious too!!)“

“First time Roadhouser, for 34 years I've discounted them as a dumb Texas gimmick and I had my outback already. But I was missing out on a wonderful experience, an actual culinary treat completely unexpected from such an established chain restaurant. The atmosphere was fun, loved the little Charleston mural. Bartenders made some excellent recommendations and we got sat quickly. MY GOD THE BREAD AND BUTTER. Everything that touched our table from the rattlesnake bites, the housemade ranch, the steak and the chicken tenders were delivered quickly, hot and was quickly devored.Great job Texas RH.
