“We had the James family bring the food truck to our annual July 4 party yesterday. Everything about them being part of the event was exceptional! They were on time, set up quickly, incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Fresh and crispy, smoky and juicy, everything you want it to be. Cheesesteak was amazing with so much flavor and cheesiness. Smoky, juicy, delicious ribs and the shrimp were the kids favorites. One of my neighbors said to me, “these chicken tenders are better than they need to be.” And I couldn’t agree more. these guys will be on the shortlist for future events.“

“Willie Jewell‘s BarBQ on University Boulevard is our go-to place for barbecue! We love dining in or getting carry-out. All the meats are excellent AND the sides are flavorful and quite varied, including daily special sides. The portions are generous and one of my favorite things about dining in is that all the sauces are WARM and available in a large pump dispenser. It’s always sad to me to put cold sauce on warm meat … that never happens at Willie Jewell‘s BarBQ on University Boulevard! The restaurant has an old-fashioned and lighthearted atmosphere and the staff are pleasant and efficient.“

“What can I say but, Wow! The food is always so amazing and the ladies taking your orders are very courteous and polite. The cost of the is so reasonable and you get a lot for it also. Highly recommend eating here if you have not try it yet. Hours are short but totally worth it.“

“Slight wait but only because the restaurant was packed out. It was worth the wait. My steak and ribs were cooked superbly. Their broccoli is some of the BEST I’ve ever had; guess that’s why both my sides were broccoli…👌🏾Service was great. “We ordered from Bakers for our rehearsal dinner and it was delicious!! Delivered exactly on time piping hot. The ribs were juicy and tender, the Mac and cheese is the bomb diggity and the chicken quarters were incredible!! The banana pudding was amazing too!! I highly recommend them for catering!!“
