“Great food. Had the fried chicken lunch special with collards and yams, collards were as good as homemade and the yams were extra good plus the fried chicken was very good though a very small quantity.
Staff were very nice.

“My husband got the mint chocolate chip frappe and LOVED it! And he’s picky! I got the iced dirty chai tea latte with cold foam and I’ve had many before, and it was not great. Tasted like cinnamon watered down milk and didn’t get cold foam at all so wasn’t too thrilled given the price I paid for it.“

“We met Adam the owner who came to hurricane hit Little Switzerland NC right after the storm subsided. He and his team brought massive amounts of supplies from BBQ grills and charcoal to baby needs, water, generators and even went so far on a return trip to bring a portable smoker and cooked an entire meal for our village. We decided after a month of volunteering to celebrate my wifes birthday here in lovely Charleston and of course a meal at the Codfathers restaraunt. The atmosphere is very English Pub style with a great selection of beers/ wine, friendly staff and large tasty portions at a great price. If you love fish and chips this is a must go !!

“My husband and I went to Dashi last night and it was PHENOMENAL. Kaitlyn (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was so personable and wonderful—she truly made our night. The Jiggly Caliente drink was delicious, and our food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!“

“went today for my birthday lunch. my meal was fine except the macaroni and cheese was dry with little cheese. Banana pudding is really good. My son's flounder meal wasn't good. Daughter in-law seafood macaroni and cheese had 1 silver of crab meat and 3 shrimp and lacking cheese. They are giving the leftovers to their dog. $110 for 2 bad meals and one decent one. Nigel our waiter was attentive with a great personality. Can no longer recommend. Use to be a good place“

“We LOVE Baker’s BBQ!! The bbq and sides are incredible! We have 4 little ones and love the outdoor dining option. The kids love looking at the Koi Pond. Pro tip: call early on Thursday if you want ribs so claim them! They sometimes sell out & for a good reason too - they’re delicious!!“

“Pictured is the lobster roll and side salad. Not pictured was 2 dozen raw oysters and shrimp cocktail. The presentation of the shrimp cocktail was unimpressive but they did taste good. “Everything is good here! My favorite is the everything bagel with honey almond cream cheese and bacon slices. Don’t sleep on the dessert either. Take it with you if you need to.“

“Recently, we held a birthday party here and the entire night exceeded expectations. The staff stayed on top of refills, drink orders,
food orders, and they made sure the entire party of 30 plus was taken care of. I have never seen such a well oiled machine in any restaurant or bar and I have to give credit where credit is due. I ordered the 10 smoked wings, phosphate poutine fries, cheddar poppers, and armadillo eggs. Everything tasted amazing including the wings! The meat was smoked and juicy! As soon as you bite into the wing you capture the seasoning rub of the outside of the chicken and when dipped into the sauces makes it to die for. The chicken wing sizes are huge in size comparable to the size of most Chinese egg rolls. To be honest out of the ten wings I could only eat six before I felt full. The fries were covered in cheese curds brown gravy and topped with cheese to hold the gravy within the fries. It took us some time to drive here from James Island but well worth the drive and the wait!“

“Me and the wife love a good wine bar. This local chain is such a fun little spot to stop in and grab some small plates and some amazing glasses of wine. We’re part of the wine club and it’s truly worth the money! They do a great job curating the wine selection and the staff is so knowledgeable! Cannot recommend them enough. We’ve been to all the locations but this one in Summerville is our favorite for the surround walks and bars nearby.“

“A perfect Friday evening! Wait was 45 minutes. No big deal. Grabbed some beers and found a spot at the outside bar. Do yourself a favor and get a Snafu Strawberry Squared Sour. My son LOVED the playground area. He’s 8 and there were several other kids of various ages all having a blast. We chatted with some friendly folks until our table was ready. Food was yummy. Watermelon salad, ceviche, pecan pork chop, shark filet with shrimp, and kids corn dogs. The ceviche and shrimp were our favorites. All in all we were there 2 hours and my son never once asked for an electronic. He was too busy playing. Highly recommend this neighborhood bar and restaurant for families.“
