“My daughter and I tried Antonio’s on a Tuesday evening. As soon as we walked in, we were delightfully greeted. At the register, they explained their deals, which were the best bang for our buck since we decided to eat at the restaurant. The lovely gentleman even asked us how we would like our pie baked, crispy or ready to eat. Everything from the moment we walked in to the moment we left was great! My son and I only ate half because of the gigantic size but were torn bc it tasted so good and we wanted more! Upon pickup there was an issue with the credit card machine that was only going to take a few minutes to fix. I was happy to wait, but the owners insisted I take my order and go enjoy it, and they’d just give me a call for payment later. I initially missed their call, but called back to give them my payment. However, Mr Frank insisted on taking care of my dinner for me bc of the inconvenience. I tried, but I couldn’t talk him out of it. I’ve been in the restaurant business for over 20 years and I must say that I completely understood where he was coming from. In the end, the food was terrific! The service was excellent! “I had a fantastic experience at Mellow Mushroom in North Charleston. The place was packed, which was a clear sign I had chosen the right spot! While there was a 40-minute wait for a table, I lucked out with a seat at the bar and was able to order quickly.

I tried the House Special Pizza and a Caesar salad, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was loaded with fresh toppings, perfectly baked, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The salad was crisp and flavorful, a great complement to the pizza.

Despite how busy it was, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the lively atmosphere added to the experience. If you’re a pizza lover, Mellow Mushroom is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Good food but poor customer service. There are two signs at the front, one for order here, the other for call a head orders. I called a head, after waiting in the line for 10 minutes, and being passed by employees multiple times with no acknowledgement. I asked for help and was told that the call a head line was not open. Then had to go to the back of the order here line to pick up two sandwiches that were already made and paid for sitting 15 feet from where I asked for help. They were cold by the time I got them.“

“I'm always on the hunt for the best pizza, and tonight we tried Donato's for the first time. We got the Classic Trio hand-tossed, and the Founders Favorite thin. Both were fantastic!

The sauce is superb, like a Nonna slow-simmered it from a secret family recipe. It's vibrant, with a hint of sweetness and such depth of flavor. It's the perfect consistency and the perfect coverage on both types of crust.

The house-recipe sausage is spectacular, and the thin crust stands up to the multiple toppings on the Founders Favorite. The hand-tossed crust is delicious and even more delectable dipped in the garlic butter.

We ate half of them before I even got a picture, that's how good they are. These pies are the real deal, and that sauce is gonna keep me coming back.“

While doing so I observed the young lady had put the returned pizza back in the box. “Sbarro in Northwoods Mall in North Charleston is one of my favorite places to go for pizza. When I am having a tough day this place works really well to turn things around. Sometimes I get just a slice, but other times I get a whole pizza and either choice works well. Everything they have here is very delicious and well prepared. The staff here is cool and friendly and works hard to get you your food. This Sbarro is awesome.“

“I've never had a problem with this pizza hut. Always have been my favorite until today. I tip and everything, but the cook and cashier today were NASTY (both females). I get they're backed up but when you order a pizza with extra cheese but it's missing half the cheese, make it right without attitude. “Although theiir food is fairly good, as of the past few months, their service is waning. Tonight, I was one of the masses who had placed an order for food either online or through the call center who found themselves in an indefinite wait for our orders. Once at the store after a 30 minute wait I was told that it would be 15 to 30 minutes wait time as the manager had called out sick, another manager was filling in and a couple of junior employees were outright voicing their oppossition to management in front of customers. Meanwhile, customers who had placed orders an hour or more earlier and already paid for their food found that their orders hadn't even been started yet and had no way to cancel their order or get their money refunded. As for myself, it took an hour and 10 minutes to get my order for one pizza which was not only under cooked, but cold as well! This is an recipe for failure. This store needs to be shut down and its personnel retrained. The problems that plague this store should never be displayed in front of the customer base. Further, No one should have to order food, pay full price for it and then take it home and have to finish cooking it in order to eat it.“
