“This place is great! Under new management so I’d avoid the old reviews since it just reopened and is no longer smoke filled. They have a limited food menu of common bar food, we had the the mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers and those were some of the best I’ve ever had. Nice pool tables, and the owners were there cooking and serving and were the coolest dudes ever! Great music too! I look forward to stopping by again.“

“(Bushwacker) I shoot nine-ball pool out of Chris’ Place Bar. I have always enjoyed myself while there. The employees are great and have always treated me with utmost respect and nothing short of total professionalism. Chris’s Place Bar reminds me of the old program “CHEERS”. Your greeted with a smile as ya come in; and everyone seems to know who ya are! If you’ve never been there; you should stop in and give it a try. You might just find yourself wanting to come back! “Mrs. Merely is great. It was not very buisey so we kinda had a run on the place. There was music and pool tables, oh and beer of course. It is primarily a Hispanic bar but we were welcomed by all and had a great time. The food was also pretty good as well.“

“The wings were delicious BUT the dipping sauce was unreasonably watered down and the accompanying celery was small. That said, the Guinness pour is the best in Charleston and the counter service was above and beyond. Please change the wing dipping sauce to something better than water and provide celery that is actually reasonable rather than sparse 1" stubs. Celery is cheap.“

“Make sure you come with people the crowd is not very friendly it's mostly families or couples that tables. The food was very good The service I guess depended on how many people were at the table. I was kind of left by the wayside I was by myself at the bar just trying to order some food. If it was very good I don't think I'll go back. Unless I have a group.“
