“The Kopper Kettle is a pleasant surprise! The food is delicious and the portions are generous. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and make the dining experience enjoyable and worthwhile. Sara has done a wonderful job of giving you that down home country feeling with the setting and food at the Kopper Kettle. That's why I eat there regularly 1 to 3 times a week. It's well worth the visit and once you do, you'll be back for more!“
“They were able to seat 9 of us together on a Sunday at noon in less than 15 minutes. Our server Island (hopefully that spelling isn't butchered too badly) was great, all the food was exactly how it was ordered, and prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth checking out for a quick bite“
“The service and amount of good was awesome! Little local place that has great southern home cooking. Only negatives: change your ceiling tile from leaks you had for sometime now and miss the later dinner hours on the weekend. But overall, it's one of our favorite local spots. Easy on your budget, too.“
“There hasn’t been a meal I’ve gotten at Carolina Family Restaurant that wasn’t absolutely delicious!! Maria and Gus never cut corners and each and every time I’ve ordered from there my food had been consistent and delicious! You have to try the Greek salad with chicken (the dressing alone is amazing), the big burger and fries and the meatloaf, mash potatoes and cabbage (omg) Maria is gracious and humble and the waitstaff is so friendly every time! I can’t say enough about this restaurant.“
“On our return home, we arrived at the Charlotte Airport around 7pm, and found limited choices available. The 1897 Market was open and quiet and we were seated immediately. It would be a relatively pleasant venue, but on this evening there was a copious amount of noise emanating from an HVAC unit above. Our waiter arrived within moments, and we ordered a pizza to share. The pizza arrived quickly, in less than 10 minutes, and it was pretty good, which means it was quite good by airport food standards.Overall, we'd give this visit 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4 stars for the good service and the fact that we found passable food in an airport!“
“This is hands down the best upscale but casual eatery in Lake Wylie. You can get dressed up at night or stop in wearing your Hoodie for lunch. The chef worked at the 5 star kitchens at the Grand Hyatt in New York. The attention to detail and the flavor profiles are not matched in the area.. if you don't try it you are missing an opportunity in our community.“
