“For a person who personally doesn't eat seafood, surprisingly their menu had a variety of non-seafood items, all of which tasted fantastic, were cooked perfectly, and had no cross-contamination, which I was expecting from a place that primarily serves seafood. The staff were very polite and family oriented; they made it feel like you were coming for a home-cooked meal, not eating out, very grandmotherly. The food is inexpensive, yet still tastes great. The facility definitely has earned and keeps its A raiting.“

“My husband and I dined here over the weekend for dinner for our 23rd wedding anniversary. It was our first time dining here. We highly recommend this establishment. We had a 6 pm dinner reservation and were seated promptly. The hostess told us about the specials for the evening. Our server was very attentive and checked on us often. We had the crab and shrimp stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were delicious. We both had Cesar salad and honestly it was one of the best Cesar salads I have ever had. My husband had the NY strip and it was cooked to perfection. I had one of the specials blackened swordfish topped with mini crab cakes . It was delicious. Dessert came next my husband had the NY cheesecake and I chose the tiramisu. We were not disappointed. They have a dessert cocktail menu. I was shocked that they offer a Pink Squirrel. My mother’s favorite drink was a Pink Squirrel. She passed away 10 years ago. I can remember sneaking a sip when I was a kid. I ordered one in honor of my mom and I was pleasantly reminded of my mom so thank you Sam Kendall’s for that gift and a wonderful anniversary dinner. We will definitely see you again.“

“A hidden gem! My husband and I are huge into places with history, so when I was told about mill pond I surprised him on a date night. My husband has lived in several countries and has tried tons of different steaks around the world, needless to say…he said the king filet wrapped in bacon was the best steak he has ever had!! My husband is very nit picky, so this is huge! My dish was amazing as well (one of their specials) and the peach cobbler reminded me of when I was a kid, eating one of my mom’s homemade cobblers. “First time visit (4/25/26); food was great. We had corn nuggets, fried okra, burgers and tea. Excellent meal. Just move here from Upstate NY and you cannot get this type of food where we lived in Schenectady County. As I entered the store I immediately sensed this is "just a good old country store." It is so much different than any fast food elsewhere near us (we live in Elgin, SC). I am originally from Arlington, TX and I've not had fried okra since in left TX in 2000. I'd forgotten how great fried okra could be. Now we must try their breakfast! Thanks for a great job, friendly service and excellent "normal" food.“

“My husband and I had never ate at Chili's, the atmosphere at this Chili's was awesome. our waiter/bar tender named TC was the best. He interacted with us as well as the other customers around us. He was very polite, explained the different items and menu deals. He kept us laughing. He is a plus to their customer service, the other waiters and waitresses were friendly as well and all seemed glad to be at work... Keep up the good work!“
