“I’m glad I decided to try First Watch. I usually eat at Eggs up or Waffle House. This was a pleasant experience. The service was perfect, and the food delicious. I will definitely be returning.“

“We have had two wonderful experiences at this First Watch. Excellent food and service and highly recommend. However, what I do NOT recommend is purchasing gift cards from the company’s online website. We ordered one as a gift on 12/2 and it was to be mailed. Our credit card was charged on 12/2, but as of today, it has still NOT been shipped. We called and it was difficult to completely understand the lady on the phone. She said she would have them “reship” even though we can see it was NEVER sent in the first place. Confirmation number was given when pressed but it was the same as order number. Now, we are left unsure if it will ever arrive. This has left a bad taste in my mouth.“

They have great food and great service. I love all the desserts and, my personal favorite, the coffee bar. I always get a hazelnut cappuccino with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon. I am a coffee fanatic and this coffee is fantastically good. PS It pairs well with the Tiramaseu that I order before my meal.

The service is also excellent. Always happy friendly and helpful. They are also attentive with checking in and topping off drinks. Mind you when they're swamped it may not be as fast as usual but that's to be expected.

If you and your family decide to eat here you won't be disappointed. I am a proud return customer and if I lived a bit closer I'd be a regular... which is probably for the best since spending my paycheck here would be worth every penny.

“We were in the area and decided to stop in for breakfast. Had a long line ahead of us, but it moved along quickly and our food was out in a very reasonable time. The food was absolutely delicious and they have a good selection of coffee to choose from. I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

Wait staff did not get our drink order in a timely fashion, food was delivered to the table at separate times, my wife ran out of drink, and my over easy egg was not properly cooked. I will continue to eat breakfast here but for lunch I will go elsewhere.“

“This I hop on Woodruff rd was good. Food was good service good and it was alright. It has been consistent since 1990s. I can tell they have a new chef and manager but so far it's still good on Woodruff rd. Simpsonville horrible and it need a whole new staff . But Woodruff rd is doing good.“

“On Friday after Helene came through and the power outages happened, this was the place I found that was offering hot food! I had been searching for 2 hours prior to coming here. Everywhere else (even other waffle houses) did not have power. When I had entered I was told that I was the last person being allowed in since they were working under no AC and no power. All employees present were working very hard. I didn’t have cash in hand to pay. A kind person was nice enough to let me borrow $10 cash (I Venmo them ofc). I was able to get some food. All I’m going to say is that the people that were working on Friday 9/27 were the kindest and most hard working people. I’m very grateful that you guys came in to provide hot meals to the people after such unforeseen circumstances. Thank you so much! ❤️“

“We were seated before 3 other families. They received (yes 3 families)their drinks before we were even asked what we would. Our waiter was not at all caring if we got food or drink. The other tables also received food 25 minutes before us. The kitchen finally came and brought our food . It was hot and the drinks came. Then our waiter came later. We has to ask for her. We needed creamer for the coffee. Needless to say food is a happy place but when you have bad service, it really sucks to eat out. We even had to wait to pay. The bus boy told us we pay at the table but of course the waiter was in candy land somewhere. The food was good and hot just not so good server and the wait was from her.“

“No better place for a fast, friendly, good, AND affordable meal. The day shift is the best. Amazing crew, excellent cooks. You can’t go wrong with an All star breakfast or a cheesesteak melt. The portions you get for the price you won’t find anywhere else. I have been to a couple other locations in the area and this one’s the best, hands down. Oh and if you’re like me and have a sweet tooth try the Reeses Waffle.“

“We walked in right after a rush, you wouldn’t know it though. The place was clean and the bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen at any restaurant in a while. Service was on point too, the team actually functions like a team. Alexia did a phenomenal job taking care of us and we had the pleasure of meeting Jonah, Kaylee, and Ben who all were welcoming and professional. This is now my go-to Waffle House!“

He was very professional. The entire staff did a great job, including the cook, but he was not in uniform, he was in a hoodie, but he still did a great job. I would recommend this waffle house.
