Based on the reviews, Agaves Cantina Hwy 41 is a nice Mexican restaurant. The Fajitas are awesome, and the Tacos and burritos are also great. The fried Ice Cream is outstanding, and the Salsa is yummy. The street tacos and Margaritas are always good. The food is hot, fresh, and flavorful, with the carne asada steak, grilled fish tacos, and shrimp taco being very good. Their house chips are delicious. However, beware the churros, as they have a weird filling not described on the menu. The atmosphere is like a night club with kids and the lights on, and the noise level makes it hard to talk. There is a cute outdoor dining area and a nice bar area. The staff and atmosphere are great, and they take great care of guests. Service can be ok, but sometimes the server forgets about the table or needs to be asked several times for water refills. It is not busy except on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is no sign lit up at night, so it is hard to find. It is a great family friendly option close to home.
