“Walked in and ask if I could sit outside. The hostess asked if I wanted bar or table. I didn’t have a preference but was told she’s only walk me there if I got a table. I’d never been here before and told her that I didn’t know where I’d be going. I settled on a table so I’d actually be shown where to go. Odd but brushed it off. Bartender was taking care of everyone outside it appeared, which it wasn’t a busy time but seemed as if she had a lot going on at once. I ordered the roll I decided on and asked for a suggestion for a second. I went with what the server recommended. Not sure if there was a miscommunication but I was only brought the one roll the server recommended, I didn’t feel like asking where the second roll was. It was good and I’d go back here for sushi. I’ll make sure my full order is understood in the future.“

“Arrived in town 6/28 and leaving 7/4. We've been here every night for dinner. Great Sports Pub vibe! Good food and a great staff. I normally don't do reviews but two people stood out to me, Rob and Elena. They both were there every single day we went in. Elena was holding down the food and Rob managing the Pub. I didn't get to know the other staff's names but these two I can't say enough about. They are the reason we came back. I know one thing, they both deserve a day off! They both worked really hard to keep this Pub rocking! Thanks again and hope to see you soon.“

“Found on google maps to break up a long drive with my kids. It was just what we needed to eat, play and get the wiggles out. Staff was few but they were helpful and kind. Kids each got an unlimited play 30 minute arcade card for $20. They also have free ping pong and corn hole. Definitely going to have to stop by here again.“

“Manhattans is a great place to have a drink with friends, Friday karaoke nights are a blast and they have a great billiards setup. It doesn’t matter what problems there are in the world, you can always count on Manhattans for a great time!“

“We went to Peacock for my Birthday dinner and it was amazing! This was our first time here but we will definitely be back! Aaron was our server and was so attentive and gave us the best recommendations for food to try. He knew about everything! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything tasted great! We split the Steak Frites and got the Blistered Green Beans as well. Oh my goodness, they were both amazing! The flavor of the steak and green beans were so great. Finished up with lemon cheesecake with blueberry compote and it was so good! It was a fantastic birthday dinner!“

“By far my favorite bar. I’ve been going here for years and have never been to a place quite like it. It’s my favorite spot for a night out dancing or just a drink with friends. I have always felt safe here as a queer person and know the staff will always have our backs to ensure our safety and wellbeing. My trans friends feel the most comfortable coming to this bar because of how amazing the staff is and the community within the establishment. I adore coming in to see Conner and David at the bar and they truly make my night. I will always recommend rec room to anyone that will listen. Thanks for making such a unique and inclusive space ♡“

“I went here with my cousin while visiting Charleston for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to eat. HIGHLY recommend the dumpwings and the pretzel appetizer as well as the Bubba burger. Incredible amazing food coupled with amazing service. Made us feel right at home. “My husband and I came in for a short weekend trip from Savannah, GA. We stumbled upon Mac's Place on our second day. The bartenders (Zach and Brian) were/are awesome! We had great conversation with some of the locals. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next day! We will definitely be back to visit. Cheers!“
