“Our bartender Dave was absolutely fantastic. We were visiting Charleston for the weekend for Valentine’s Day and heard through word of mouth how good The Peacock was. We arrived and Dave immediately stood out — warm, funny, & attentive, to the point where we left for dinner and came back for a night cap. The Peacock is lucky to have him.“

“Some of the best food! Great fries! Some of the best and cheapest drinks in the city. The staff are such amazing people. We were there one night for trivia and another night for dirty Santa! The experience both times was so fun and entertaining. I'm so glad we found this place on our trip! Hope they stay sweet and fun!“

“I went here with my cousin while visiting Charleston for the first time. We could not have picked a better place to eat. HIGHLY recommend the dumpwings and the pretzel appetizer as well as the Bubba burger. Incredible amazing food coupled with amazing service. Made us feel right at home. If I visit charleston again, I will be coming back.“

“My husband and I came in for a short weekend trip from Savannah, GA. We stumbled upon Mac's Place on our second day. The bartenders (Zach and Brian) were/are awesome! We had great conversation with some of the locals. We enjoyed ourselves so much we came back the next day! We will definitely be back to visit. Cheers!“

“Despite the end result I actually really enjoyed this bar. The bartender was absolutely great! The manager (Im assuming)definitely handled things differently than I would expect. My rating is definitely based on the bartender and the cook that came out to talk to me“

“Arrived in town 6/28 and leaving 7/4. We've been here every night for dinner. Great Sports Pub vibe! Good food and a great staff. I normally don't do reviews but two people stood out to me, Rob and Elena. They both were there every single day we went in. Elena was holding down the food and Rob managing the Pub. I didn't get to know the other staff's names but these two I can't say enough about. They are the reason we came back. I know one thing, they both deserve a day off! They both worked really hard to keep this Pub rocking! Thanks again and hope to see you soon.“
