The Mustard Seed is known for great food. I think this visit was maybe an off night? My pasta was bland, really bland. The meatloaf was lacking flavor as well and it's a favorite. My daughter didn't finish her burger. The atmosphere is friendly and our service was fantastic. Like I said, I think it was an off night as we have been dining there for years and this time it was just ok.
Overall good experience. Food was decent except the fries were shoestring which are easy to overcook. Brussels sprouts were lights out delicious! Good portions, pork and sauce were good. With the decor I was a little worried I'd get canned green beans but they were fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. Only American cheese or havarti (where'd that come from?) for the burger?
