$80 for 3 people, for food that was literally unedible. So salty I just had to spit it out. Service was also terrible. While checking out, we were asked by the cashier how everything was- we replied honestly, bad food, bad service- she copped an attitude, practically threw a pen and the receipt at me. We'll never go back. Simply Southern and Big Mike's are both less than a mile away, MUCH better choices!!
I’m a local and have always appreciated Magnolias as a staple, but my recent visit was disappointing. I went at 4 PM when it was nearly empty.
The front staff was kind, but the person serving food was not. For $22, the buffet had limited options, desserts didn’t look fresh, and a drink wasn’t included, bringing my total to $28. The food wasn’t hot and seemed like it had been sitting out, which didn’t justify the price. I expected better quality.
The people serving the food not very nice or friendly. We walked up and the guy was mad because we wanted to see what there was before we went through the line . When we asked for a biscuit he had some fresh ones in front and dug to the bottom and gave us the hardest one he could find . Was not worth the money

Magnolia's At 26th is a very good restaurant with great food and fantastic southern style cooking. The food is very tasty and well prepared, featuring down home southern dishes. Guests can enjoy a lunch/dinner buffet with huge portions or order from the menu, and they also serve breakfast and brunch buffets. The service is wonderful, with attentive and professional wait staff offering southern charm. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is very clean with no unpleasant odors. It is an A graded place where guests feel at home and will not leave hungry, making it a must stop for future visits.
