The restaurant is located inside of the Crowne Plaza hotel, across from SRP Park. Service from the hostess and the waitress was great. Manager even came by the table to check on us during dinner. The atmosphere was great and everything we saw looked very clean and well kept. The food presentation had us excited we had dined here. Then comes the taste. Food was fantastic, I was with a group of 8 and we ate 100% of everything. None of us were brave enough to try the Kangaroo, but the ostrich and bison were delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and no complaints here. Totally worth a try.
During our stay at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta, my husband and I had dinner at Salt & Marrow Kitchen. Even with reservations, we waited nearly 40 minutes for someone to take our drink order after being seated. While the staff were sincerely apologetic and pleasant throughout, the delay left a less-than-favorable first impression.
