“Updating my review again. After a disappointing previous visit, we decide to try again after checking the menu online and what a difference. Atmosphere was better, wait time shorter and tho it was more expensive, the food was excellent. Coconut shrimp and flounder are highly recommended. Wait staff was great. We'll definitely be back again. Now about that side door... 😉“

“Our family had the best experience at The Grumpy Monk at Broadway on the Beach! Dawson was excellent - we came back again two days later and requested his section…. He greeted us at our table with the same drinks we had the previous time. Wow. Now that is serving your customer! The food did not disappoint either. Fried pickle chips and the burgers and wings were amazing. We will definitely be back a third time!“

“Ordered 3 dinners and a side of thai spring rolls. All three hot, fresh dinners came with a small, cold side salad and piping hot onion soup. (Idk if that's the same flavor of soup they always serve or if it's a soup-of-the-day.) Everything was delicious and cooked well. The rice was especially wonderful! (Lightly salted, fluffy, and slightly buttery, but not oily. 🤤) We ordered takeout at the counter and had our food about 15 minutes later. We arrived after 8pm, so parking wasn't a problem and we missed the dinner rush. The lady who took our order was friendly and helpful. She made sure to pack our food carefully and checked that we received everything. Overall, we had a satisfying meal and pleasant experience!“

“Came here tonight with my fiancé about 20mins after they opened, lady at the front took our name and number said it would be about a 30-45min wait. So we go back to the car wait about 45 mins we call to ask our place in line the lady again said about 20-30mins so after waiting another 45mins we decided to just leave it was around 4:45pm when we got there it is now 9:47pm and we have still not received anything, they never called or texted us to say our table was ready. DO BETTER!!!!!“
