“We traveled from FL to Anderson then to pacolet to revisit family history in pacolet/Glendale/jonesville. Amazing to find a restaurant named same as our grandchild nickname. EJs was a jewel to find. A family owned and operated restaurant with floor sized tic tac toe and checker board. An atmosphere similar to Mayberry, Andy Griffin show. The tuna, egg salad and chicken salad were fantastic with generous portions and reasonably priced . Granddaughter was treated to a soda fountain style milkshake. Service was attentive. One can tell this is a local favorite as well as folks travelling out of their way for this establishments food. Next time I am close by I will make a point to stop again.”

“I've lived in Pacolet my whole life, and in that time, I personally have never had an issue with the food, service or really anything at this restaurant. The food is standard small diner affair, so hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, and a flounder plate with quick service and a nice small town appeal. Nine times out of ten, if I do decide to go out to eat and I don't feel like dealing with the traffic or the commute to spartanburg, Gaffney, or union this is where I end up and I've yet to have a bad meal.”

Parking: Papa John's is inside the IGA in Pacolet sc and they have plenty of parking and a few handicapped places too.

Wheelchair accessibility: The front of the store is level with the parking lot so wheelchairs can access the front doors. But they don't have any wheelchairs or electronic carts.”

“My family and I love John’s! His breakfasts are amazing. Of course, my favorite is the huge waffle with bacon. For lunch, I love the cafe combo served with his spicy pimento cheese and chicken salad. In addition to great food, there is a friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to eat.”

“It was a 25 minute drive, but it was worth every mile. Very friendly people, family owned. Had the pleasure of speaking with the owner and his daughter. The food was amazing, it was prepared by his lovely wife. I had a shrimp platter and a hotdog with chili.. Normally I put ketchup on my hotdog, but this hotdog did not need any extra topping. I highly recommend 💚”

“Me and my husband had our first date here about 4 years ago and since then, it’s been our go to place anytime we want sushi. It is well prepared, delicious and amazing every single time. The sushi is the main thing we get every time, but the hibachi and bento boxes are also delicious. Never been disappointed and don’t think we’ll ever go anywhere else for our sushi fix.”

“I love, love, love the Stolen Brownie Sundae! They only have outside seating (benches). We enjoy it. The service today was not good. Aftet standing at the window a while, watching someone wash dishes, I poked my head in the window and called 'hello'. The second time, I noticed. He apologized, took our order, and they had our food ready quickly.”

“Honestly could not be happier that Whataburger is in Spartanburg. The food was fantastic and the service can't be beat. I know fast food is fast food but somehow they found a way to step it up without breaking the bank in the process. 10/10 will continue going back for the foreseeable future.”
