A young counter person made a minor understandable order taking error. When she fixed her mistake, she did it pleasantly and with a smile before refusing the additional payment that was due. In fact, she declined my offer of payment several times.

“We got two of the pies for dinner- the mince and the steak and potato, and both were delicious! The flavor is so good and the pastry is perfect. My mother-in-law is a kiwi and these pies were famous in Colorado, she saw they had moved here and immediately called me and told me to go get some. She can’t wait to come up and have some herself! Cant recommend enough and so happy we have another wonderful lunch/dinner place in central!!“

“Very good ice cream! The price was also surprising. We got 2 cups with 1 scoop, 1 cone with 1 scoop and a regular milkshake for $15. They have lots of tables outside to sit at. There is also a nicely mowed hill which people were also sitting on.

“Little expensive. $16 for a scoop of ice cream and a cup with entirely too much fruit (it was good though). For that much I would expect a branded cup but got a Jason Aldeans rooftop cup. The menu is not in English so it may take a minute to figure out what you want to try. Not sure I would go back.

While my husband was shopping next door he came outside and offered me two free cookies and apologized for being closed. He was very sweet and you do not find customer service like this very often anymore. Will forever come to this crumble cookie and give them my money.“
