“We usually order from the Fiesta Grill in Central and are very pleased. We only have the budget to order out for our family usually about one night per pay cycle and often we go Mexican. Tonight when we ordered from the pendleton location, they didn't include tortillas with my fajitas, they half filled my sons "large" cheese quesadilla (most of it was just unfilled tortilla) which I would've considered a fluke except they did it to my other sons normal sized tortilla. he also got a beef quesadilla which was overstuffed with ground beef and barely any cheese and all grease to the point where it was **inedible** for him (and me). oh! and the extra cheese queso we ordered was cold and lumpy. and I spent most of the night on the toilet after this too. so all in all, worst takeout in recent memory. wish i had chosen the central location. there was a bag inspection checklist on the ticket stapled to the bag that no one checked or signed. so whatever you're doing to quality control pickup is not working. if that had come to my table, I would've demanded a meal refund.“

“This is the real deal in Mexican around here. It's in an old HoJo Resturant. so I'm not certain if that qualifies as high end Mexican, Classical Mexican, or Just Short of a Dive Mexican... but the place is clean and organized. Let's call it HoJo Mexican. We built a house just up the road. As we were building the place, we stopped by once or twice. Since then we have been numerous times and honestly each time the place has been better. Once during a fishing tournament they got absolutely slammed and had a tough time getting the food out, but they sprung for some free margaritas so all was forgiven. The folks who work here are seriously hard workers. The lady who owns it works harder than anyone I have ever seen in a Resturant. Their cooks are great. Everything is prepared after you order and it's done in a very reasonable amount of time (unless there is a major fishing tournament, LOL). The food is great. I've tried everything I can think of on the menu that I would remotely enjoy and it's all good. They can make anything you would like, and to be honest my wife and I often simply order a couple of soft tacos, chicken, with sliced avocados. The chips are some of th best I have had anywhere. Freshly cooked, thin, super crispy. Same for the salsa, excellent. They have regular and spicy. Neither is too hot for me. I like hot, but don't care for painfully hot. Oh don't forget that they have a full bar... They have Margaritas of all sorts... and then they have Texas Margaritas. As best as I can figure, that is equivalent to a "loaded" Margarita. They are good. The menu includes beer, tequilas, and whiskeys. I suspect that they can make whatever you want, but suffice it to say that if you are there for Mexican and want an appropriate drink... it's available.“

“This was our first time. Although it was the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday the place was very busy. Staff didn't always speak English but they quickly found someone who did. The food was excellent and we were well taken care of. Definitely worth going back. Surprised to learn they have been open almost 10 years but until they started to list on OpenTable we had no idea.“

“We came to Anderson to watch our grandson play football, at Anderson University (which is only about a 20 minute drive) and had a wonderful relaxing time. The campground was very nice, quiet and clean. Cindy (I believe she was over. seeing the Campground while the owners were away) was awesome! She checked on us each day to see if we needed anything, gave us rides on the golf cart around the campground and even hung out and chatted around the fire a couple nights with us. As I said before it’s convenient located to AU, ClemsonUniversity and downtown Anderson. The restaurant on site was excellent unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of the waterpark but it looked like so much fun. We will definitely be back.“

The complimentary salsa verde(with salsa roja and queso!!! THREE SAUCES!)would be enough of a reason to go back.
I ordered lunch special #10(pollo fundido) and my parner ordered the beef Burrito lunch special + 2 cheese quesadilla. The portions were PERFECT for lunch. Sometimes it's just too much of the sides or double the pollo/size, it was just right. The rice was also very flavorful.....you can taste seasoning and it's fragrant at the table.
We also ordered a couple tecates and a small house margarita--honestly thought about getting a medium.....maybe another time lol the small was what is often a medium or large other places. The small house margarita was delicious. Tastes like the mix is made in house! Very fresh.
Also the music was so good and fun. Not sure if it was a dance or pop station, but we both found ourselves really enjoying the music!

“It was a nice evening. Perfect weather, so we sat outside. Immediately, a nice guy came out and took our drink order, and then a sweet lady came with a basket of chips and really good mild salsa. After asking her for a couple more minutes, she took our order. A couple more couples were seated as well as two families of four.

Food was being brought out to the other couples, then the families. Dessert brought to one person, then that family left. Another server stopped and asked if we had gotten our food or needed anything. The hubby said no food yet, but please, another cola. We confirmed what we ordered and he said it would be right out. Minutes later we rec'd our food.
The Mexican Street Tacos we ordered with the steak (not ground beef) and flour (not corn) tortillas. They were seasoned perfectly and topped with diced white onions and fresh cilantro. Lime wedges were on the plate and you had a choice of beans or rice. Their refried beans were creamy and slightly seasoned. We also had a side of their corn salad. Love Mexican corn salad, a simple dish of kernel corn drizzled with mayonnaise, parmesan, and a dash of most likely, Tajín seasoning.

Not sure where the hiccup was with service, but the meal was definitely tasty and worth the wait. BTW, we never once inquired about the whereabouts of our food. It was the server bringing out food at the other tables.“
