“We went for coffee today for my daughter’s birthday and they surprised her with a cheesecake and announced her birthday over the speaker. So sweet! And when we got the wrong size coffee they immediately made a new one and let us keep the original one in the meantime. And everything was amazing!“

“I have not had a bad experience here. It's always packed, which is great for them and the customers there, but obviously difficult for those of us wanting to sit. I'm glad they're doing well so no complaints about that, just be aware. You may end up deciding pretty quickly to take that coffee to go.
I'm a coffee nerd so I tend to opt for location specific signatures whether it's a roast, house made syrup, spice mix, pour over recipe or whatever. I want to know what makes them who they are.
So being my third time here, I went with a pour over and wasn't disappointed. I don't know which selection my wife chose for me, but it was darker and smooth. It was well poured and they had it dialed in well.
The atmosphere is great in this place with some of my favorite kinds of China and art.“

“Coffee Coffee the North Star in an overwhelming sea of mediocre coffee shops in Greenville. The team here is seriously dedicated to providing good coffee and good vibes. It is the ONLY place in Greenville for a proper matcha, and they keep the bean rotation fresh and interesting. Shoutout Jeremiah, Matt, Jesse, Brock, and the rest of the team here. They're geniuinely good people whose coffee is S-tier.

Also, if there is a food item available, (banh & butter, congee, KAYA TOAST!!!, jen's breakfast sandwich, etc.) you order it. Everything is exceptional.“

“Grateful Brew is a great place that I love to visit! Having coffee and beer is a winning combination for sure. I would only offer two suggestions that I think would help make this place even better: 1. Consider offering very small samples of beer. C’mon guys, EVERY other place in town (and most across the country) do this! 😁 No one wants to buy a beer they haven’t tried only to find that (in their opinion) it doesn’t taste good. If this was a rare practice I wouldn’t recommend it but it’s the norm at most places that specialize in beer. 2. Find a way to let the world know what you have on tap! Post your tap list on Facebook, IG, or wherever. If it’s easier use Untppd or TapHunter or something similar. I’m more likely to come by if I know there’s something I like (or want to try) on tap. Again, I want to emphasize that I am posting these thoughts as suggestions for improvement—-not as criticisms. Grateful Brew is wonderful “as is” but would (in my opinion) be just that much better with a few small changes. Oh yeah, staying open later wouldn’t be a bad idea either🤣🤣“

“Went by and had a good experience, whenever I try a specialty coffee shop I buy a drink and take their bean home. To start the drinks where good not great my cappuccino was more like a latte and the muffin I ordered was a bit dry. Now the bean is SPECTACULAR I got the Guji and me and my wife loved it would come back and buy more of their beans. As a roaster 10/10.“

“How have I just now discovered this place???? I am Colombian and have tried many empanadas from many places, and these are top tier. The beef lemon empanada is phenomenal. Not only was the food delicious, the place was so clean and cute and the staff was very friendly. They also have a ton of delicious dipping sauce options for the empanadas. “I stopped by Camilla Kitchen since I was picking up something from M. Judson this morning. I tried the Dark and Stormy….like a latte with added brown sugar and cardamom syrup….which was perfect. Not too sweet. Not too spicy. I paired that with a blueberry muffin which may be one of the best I’ve had in a while. I wasn’t planning to have breakfast here but glad I did!“

“We stopped here before a meeting yesterday around 9:45am. There was only one woman working but she was sooo pleasant, patient and kind. We both got the same thing a white chocolate mocha and an espresso chocolate chunk muffin. Honestly the mocha was pretty strong. We added a little more sugar to it and once it cooled a little it was still strong but delicious, I really enjoyed it. The muffin had no espresso taste but it was still yummy anyways. I really loved the atmosphere too. All in all glad we decided to stop here, I would come again!“

“As you walk in pick up a menu thats in the front counter. After you order your food you find a table and wait to be amazed. Anything you order will be fantastic from the coffee, to the filling sandwich, or delicious cinnamon roll. Service was very friendly as well. Small wait but well worth it!“

It sits right above Falls Park on the Reedy, immediately next to the visually stunning, trademark one sided-suspension bridge. The staff there are top shelf, especially when you go there for morning coffee or tea before you start your day. Everyone brings the staple southern hospitality begins your day with a smile. They have an exciting array of latte flavors, and a down to earth industrial look on the inside mixed with some representation of paintings by local artists. It’s the perfect place to meet up with clients or with fellow professionals to network. They have free WiFi for getting work or homework done as well. They also have amazing ice cream options. Our children talk about Spill the Beans as if it’s Disneyland to our out of town friends. We love to go on family walks after work when it’s nice out and go up and down the Reedy and then stop in for some STB ice cream as the grand finale. An impressive plethora of flavor options, along with waffle cones they make right there in house - you can watch them make each one in the morning - make it the perfect highlight to take friends and family to when they visit from out of town. Greenville is full of wonderful and unique coffee and ice cream shops, but in our book, Spill the Beans downtown tops the list comfortably. *Grateful tip of the hat to the All-Star baristas in the morning, including Maddie, Leah, and Chloe, who offer the white glove experience every establishment looks for in their staff 🫡“

“I have recently been stopping by different Starbucks locations to check out which ones are great to hang out. This location is actually one of my favorites to come to minus the entrance. I acquired my drink in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly. The lady that took my order was very responsive on the order of when my drink was coming. I set up my computer to get some work done and the environment is very calm. There were always multiple tables open at any given time and the amount of plugins around the room was great and make it handy if you want to move around and charge your devices! I would recommend this location if you want a good place to relax and get some work done while enjoying a nice coffee and pastry.“
