About Hardee's

Hardee's has reopened in St. George after being closed, offering a prime rib combo that is very flavorful and a large ham and cheese sandwich. However, the ice maker on one machine was not functioning, and the other machine did not dispense fountain drinks. The cost was $22 for one person, which is somewhat expensive for a fast-food restaurant. The restaurant needs a deep cleaning inside and out; the parking lot has trash on a daily visit, the windows are dirty, and the drive thru service area appears not to have been cleaned in years. Doors were locked at 9:00 in the morning, requiring a walk through flower beds to reach an unlocked door, and the manager on duty was rude. Some customers remember Hardee's at its VERY best when they had whole chicken pieces like legs, thighs, and wings, and their burgers are always great. Others feel the establishment feels just like a family, with staff who know customers by name, fresh food, and accommodating service. The food is good especially in the night with friendly staff, but the store manager in the morning is rude.
