“This place is what Spartanburg needed. A well serviced good atmosphered sit down restraunt with all the convenience of a quick meal. We sat down and enjoyed amazing appetizers and food and paid up front and served our own drinks. The food came out fast and the outside seating was clean and well taken care of 20/10 lookin forward to my next meal and thanks Terry for the dessert recommendations they were spot on!“

“I've ordered takeout from this location a few times. The food is fantastic. The brisket and pulled pork are among some of the best I've ever had. Recently I ordered mac and cheese and banana pudding. It was close to closing one night and the mac and cheese was not good. Normally it is. I just learned not to order late as you get the remnants and it leaves a lot to be desired. I'm still giving five stars because the good experiences substantially outweigh the one bad one.“

Gotta marry a woman who'll choose The Beacon over a snooty five-star restaurant any day! I swear she can read minds because we never had to ask for anything, she just knew how to make this the best dinner possible. Fresh rolls, plenty of sauces, never an empty cup, picture perfect plate presentations; you name it! On top of that, her personality is one of a kind. She is so bright and by the end of the meal I felt like we could be best friends. Texas Roadhouse always has excellent food but this was the best experience dining out anywhere because of Meleny's service. We will be making the drive from Simpsonville to Spartanburg far more often now because of her. She handles the service industry so well; always keeping a smile on her face even when the restaurant stays so busy. My husband ordered the filet medallions with green beans and chilli and I ordered the smothered chicken with broccoli and a salad. I highly recommend both dishes.“
